Honestly, I love Romania. We had just come from the Bulgarian seaside, and the difference was like night and day. There’s a big parking lot with a barrier gate right by the hotel — very convenient. Inside, a very friendly young man greeted us at the front desk; he even spoke some Russian, and we had a nice little chat about the city. When we entered the room, I was honestly amazed. It was huge — two rooms with spotless white sheets. There was free tea and cookies, which I really appreciated. The bed was incredibly comfortable — like sleeping on a royal bed. And the bathroom — oh wow! There was a massive jacuzzi, and no water heaters — real hot water from the central system! We took a bath and completely relaxed. At night it was quiet and peaceful, and I slept like a baby. In the morning came another surprise — the breakfast. It was absolutely royal. There was even aspic! You might ask, who eats aspic for breakfast? But it was so delicious — I haven’t had any since leaving Russia three years ago. It was wonderful. The rest of the food was top-notch too — everything was amazing. Another bonus — there’s a local zoo and a dolphinarium just nearby. We visited both and really enjoyed them.

This is my second year here. I have chosen again because I feel safe and I know that the staff is very attendive, polite and always prompt. Breakfast is nice. The Hotel is pretty much close to Kayro beach and Neversea. This year I prefered Kayro Beach as I was looking for a quiet and relaxing spot. This is nice, clean, not bussy.

I found things to do, but many things I would have liked to...

I found things to do, but many things I would have liked to see were either closed or under renovation. The walk along the harbor is nice with many seafood restaurants. The museum in the old casino was informative and the inside is beautiful.

Constanta is a beautiful and interesting city with many...

Constanta is a beautiful and interesting city with many fascinating historical houses. The main problem is apparently the lack of funds to renovate some of them. This is why, for example, in May 2026, two important museums were closed – the archaeological one for at least five years, and the naval one for probably less. Nevertheless, there is plenty to see (including Roman remains), nice beaches, good places to eat, and it's a great base from which to explore various points of interest in the area.

Renovated center, very green city, good streets and bike roads, many options to take a good lunch (Greek/Italian/Lebanese restaurants around) or to enjoy the sun on a terrace in Ovidiu Square.

We visited Costanta in February, good weather, not windy.

We visited Costanta in February, good weather, not windy. We visited the casino, the grand mosque, Ovidiu square, had long walks on the beach. We stayed at Bulevard Hotel for the swimming pool. As we love seafood, we went to Reyna restaurant, just 10 minutes' walk from our hotel. Yummy food and great view to the sea! Lovely 3-day break!

We have friends in Constanța so part of our time was spent...

We have friends in Constanța so part of our time was spent with them. We did have time however to walk from our hotel to the “Old Town”. There were a few restaurants and coffee shops open and we had the most fantastic hot chocolate at Cafe Bonjour. We also visited the Royal Mosque of Constanța. We understand that visiting at the end of October is not in “tourists season”. Many places were closed, but that was ok, we will just have to come again!

Constanța is a beautiful city with great potential.

Constanța is a beautiful city with great potential. Its strongest assets are the abundance of trees, the presence of lakes, and, of course, the sea — which brings a unique atmosphere. However, I felt that the city could benefit from more organization and cleanliness. There’s so much charm here, but it needs a bit more care and attention to truly shine.

The location is very close to the beach. There is a supermarket nearby with everything you need. Close to the bus station 5-40 that leads directly to the train station. There are very good restaurants nearby , with plenty of choices from traditional Romanian dishes to Italian. Very friendly and nice staff. They provided fresh bed linen and towels during our stay. The room is equipped with everything you need: microwave oven, kettle, toaster, fridge, tv in each subunit, air conditioning.
