Location very central for Ploesti..Great place to stop from airport on way to castles and Brasov. Beds very comfortable being firm and duvets were nice and thin. Staff at check in were very nice. Breakfast was good with good selection of salad, eggs, hams and cheeses. The potato hash browns were awful- old and recooked. Otherwise good off the road parking provided too.

I did have reservations about going to Romania to watch a sporting event in town but these proved completely unfounded and we thoroughly enjoyed our 12 day stay.
Yes, the town does have the hallmarks of an ex eastern block design but that just adds character and charm of these and other period buildings in amongst the newer westernised designs.
All the bars and restaurants we went into were very accommodating, clean, polite and above all reasonably priced compered to UK. Everyone we met out and about was polite and accommodating despite and language barriers - we all got there in the end!!
I would gladly go back and explore a little bit more and the nearby locations of Bran Castle (Dracula) and Brasov a definite must whilst you are there too

Uncomfortable!
Poor quality of furniture, cheap things.
Poor quality sheets, small, not proper for the bed.
A very small duvet, maybe the type for a single person, I suppose.
A very small and not equipped kitchen, no curtains, no table, no chair, no garbage bin.
The bathroom with a poor installation.
No plugs in the kitchen, I had to bring the electric cup in the bedroom to boil some water.
Impersonal, not cared for.

Nice little stop on the way North.
Nice little stop on the way North. Couple of museums and simple parks.
Beware of the ticket sales ladies at the train station. Make sure you know exactly what the train tickets are supposed to look like. Ours agreed several times when we showed her Google maps of where we wanted to go but then charged us a ticket for a journey going twice the distance. When we noticed she wouldn’t change it and made us get out of line. Buy online if possible. First place we’ve been to where someone has intentionally cheated us on public transport.

Lovely, ambient room with a balcony! The hotel has an elavator and is close to Poiesti Vest station which goes to Brasov, Bucharest Nord or Constanta. The breakfast spread was beautiful...the kitchen staff must be praised!
Arrived late and stayed for one night. The hotel accommodated our late arrival. The rooms were nice, had AC, and the breakfast was good. Good value for money.
