Novi Sad is a fantastic destination, especially for active travelers and remote workers! It is an incredibly green and bike-friendly city with a relaxed atmosphere. The city center is beautiful and easily walkable, featuring stunning sights like Freedom Square, the Name of Mary Church, and the historic Dunavska Street. The absolute highlights are the beautiful Limanski Park with its free outdoor gym, the relaxing Danube Park, and the magnificent Petrovaradin Fortress with its iconic Clock Tower. For recreation, Štrand beach along the Danube is amazing, and there is a great 1500m running track by the river which is perfect for morning workouts. The city has excellent restaurants, fresh local green markets, and very welcoming people. Highly recommend visiting!

Novi Sad seems to be getting worse.
Novi Sad seems to be getting worse. Over congested and no town planning is clearly obvious. Not a very clean city and food has rreally gone downhill. It is a shame that the town councillors have lost pride in this once beautiful city and historic buildings. Hotel Pupin is the place to go eat and Promenade shopping centre is the place to go to for all your food and other shopping. a couple of days and 4 being more than enough in the city.

We visited the beach at the Danube River called "Strand", which is definitely a place to experience. The only negative is the parking fee, which you are not able to pay, unless you are Serbian.
On Sunday we visited the city centre, where you can park for free in the Red Zones. The shops, cafes and restaurants are open, so you won´t miss anything on Sunday.

Good place to explore Balcan culture.
Good place to explore Balcan culture. A lot of nightlife, great food opportunities, very nice people there, not to miss for meat and wine lovers. Alongside Donava river there are spots for rest and have a bath, great view from Petrovarazdinska fortress, very affordable prices for drinking and eating there. Daytrips to Fruška Gora (monasteries, wineries) are must go. For me 3-4 days in this area is enough, but for more detailed explorers I reccommend more time.

Beautiful relaxed city with wonderful downtown.
Beautiful relaxed city with wonderful downtown. It is a University city, so it has nice energetic vibe in it. It is located on Danube river, has lots of beautiful buildings. On the opposite bank from University and down town - is Petrovaradin Fortress, which is nice to explore. Not far away from Novi Sad - a small town Sremska Kamenica, definetely worth to visit.

It was a short stay but we enjoyed it very much.
It was a short stay but we enjoyed it very much. The walk along the Danube banks was very pleasant, in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. We visited the city center, entirely pedestrian-friendly, where we found a lot of nice places, squares and buildings. The colorful architecture and the lively atmosphere are amazing. There are plenty of great cafes and restaurants to enjoy.
We ate at the Pepper restaurant and we couldnt choose better! The food was very tasty and the atmosphere incredible (3 young ladies were interpretating a very pleasant music at the cello, piano and voice). The young man who served us (I am so sorry not asking his name!) spoke perfect English, made us great recommendations for choosing dinner and was incredibly kind!
I highly recommend spending an afternoon visiting the city center and the evening having dinner at Pepper restaurant.

Perfect location if you want to see more of the genuine Novi Sad. Walking distance to the beach (15 min) and to the city. A market right next door to buy fresh vegetables and fruits, bakery, and several supermarkets. Many bus connections right outside. The host is very nice and responded immediately. The apartment is large and clean. Most of the basic supplies are available, both in terms of food and in the bathroom. Highly recommend!

Excellent location in the heart of Novi Sad, situated on a quiet street within easy walking distance of the city's main attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Novi Sad.
