I really liked the pavements which were very big and not overcrowded, which brought even a bigger and better experience of the city. I have eaten in the local restaurants and nearest pizzerias. The food was mid. Koper is not such a big city so you can see all the sights on foot, however there is still very organized public transport system. On my next visit i would not avoid a specific thing, because i am satisfied with all the things above.

Koper, a picturesque coastal town in Slovenia, offers a delightful blend of history and seaside beauty. Its well-preserved medieval old town, characterized by narrow winding streets and charming squares, transports visitors to another era. With its welcoming atmosphere, stunning waterfront views, and rich cultural heritage, Koper is a hidden gem along the Adriatic coast that promises an enchanting and memorable experience for travelers.

Loevly old part town of city, and long promenade is perfect to walk and watch sunsets. Mornarček fish house was a good place to have sea food, a bit steep price but good portions. On friday there were open air street concerts, you can feel the city vibe. The saddest thing is the city beach. Really small and of course crowded.

The sea was still cold. We went cycling and hiking. Beautiful cycle path: Parenzana. We went from Trieste to Piran. It's a shame that small engines also use it. Heated seawater thermal bath in Portoroz.

Koper is a very nice place where you can find various inns, shops, pastry shops... You can also find beautiful views and walking paths. I recommend a hike from Koper to Izola along a well-maintained walking path. It is also a very pet-friendly place, although you have to pay attention to the signs where pets are not allowed to relieve themselves.
When you want to take a break from worries and problems, you need to go to the sea. Koper was my choice. I had to choose a suitable accommodation. Not just for one day. These apartments turned out to be perfect for me. Very close to the sea, wonderful views, ideal for walking. For some people this accommodation will seem small, but for me it was the most suitable and cozy. There is everything you need from an extra pillow to a washing machine. I didn't want to leave. 100% recommended.
I travel for business and always enjoy returning to the Medved and Capraria apartments. Manager Maja is very attentive and ensures everything is clean, which is my top priority. I drive to the house, drop off my luggage, buy a parking permit for €3/day, and park my car at Spar, which is nearby, about a 5-minute walk away. The apartment is in the center of the old town, and I have everything within walking distance. I only need the car if I leave Koper.
Very comfortable hotel with great restaurant. We really enjoyed their fish on the grill and other sea food. The hotel itself is approx. 2.4km from Koper beach and 2km from downtown. Nevertheless it's easy to walk to the city or beach by foot. There are parking lots nearby hotel, sometimes you need to park next to the hotel as parking can be full in the evenings.
Although it doesn't seem like that, location is central to everything you will need when staying in Koper for a vacation. Market contains fresh vegetables every day, multiple fish shops, Fritolin, Sledoledarnu and is a gateway to long walks on the boardwalk. City beach is 5 minutes away, there is a parking garage nearby, it has everything very close.
The apartment is excellent! Everything were close to the accommodation: the historic city center, many type of restaurants, both beaches, the port. The host is very friendly, helpful and flexible. It’s perfect for a couple, a small family or for friends cause it includes two separated rooms. I recommend this apartment everybody who travel to Koper.
The apartment was very clean and the free parking made everything easier for us. They prepared everything perfect on side, all necessary informations, where to go for dining/ where to do shopping. Very organized! If we are coming back to Koper we will definitely stop by here again! And thank you so much for the lovely lavender present 🌻🙏🏼🙂
I can’t say enough about this wonderful property. It was beautifully designed and nicely functional. The location is great. Milos, the host, made sure everything was perfect and communicated with us well. I highly recommend this apartment when visiting Koper.
The apartment is great, it is located on the outskirts of the city of Koper, it has a beautiful view, the accommodation is clean, average, the communication with the owners is excellent, they always want to help...
in one word EXCELLENT AND I RECOMMEND IT!!!
Nice, fully equipped appartment suitable for five people.
The new Žusterna beach reachable by foot, though you have to climb 60 m on the way back.
Private parking slot was provided to us, because public parking use to be full in evenings.
Brand new, spotless apartment on the ground floor of a private residence. Very spacious. Everything you could want is already there. Excellent huge bed as well. Situated right between the nice towns of Koper and Izola. Very friendly hosts!
We were put up in the new building, where the rooms were really big, modern and chic. The breakfast was testy and varied, beds were very comfortable. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is very convenient.
Koper is rather small but still the location of the hostel is amazing 🤩 close to everything! I loved that. The lady that checked me in was really nice (I used Google translate to communicate)
Excellent place to stay at when visiting Koper. It's cozy, in a nice part of the city located near stores, city center and the beach. Also easy to locate and clear check-in instructions.
