Our stay at this hotel was truly wonderful from start to finish. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless, with great water pressure in the shower. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options available. Everything was well-prepared and regularly restocked. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and welcoming, making every meal enjoyable. What really stood out was the incredible service. Every member of staff was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and their genuine hospitality made a big difference. The hotel facilities were also fantastic — from the modern wellness area to the beautiful surroundings. Parking was easy and well-organized, and we really appreciated the electric car charging points on-site. Overall, this was a perfect experience. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality, comfort, and excellent service.

Small town with a lot of historical buildings to see and...

Small town with a lot of historical buildings to see and stories to hear, also the tunnels built in the 2nd world war. There is beautiful nature in (rivers Kokra and Sava) and around it that you can visit. I was there two years in a row in September and each time we had a shorter option of a guided tour. Only the tunnels were the same, other parts of tour were totally different - in a small city!

Beautiful small Old World Town.

Beautiful small Old World Town. Off the normal tourist path, so not crowded! Charming. Easy to walk around. Local pub had live music! Stayed just one night (before our flight) - could easily have stayed longer if our schedule had permitted.

Kranj is perfectly positioned city.

Kranj is perfectly positioned city. It is very close to highway, it is close to mountains (25min from ski resort) and is only 2h drive from the sea. It has beautiful old town. The capital, Ljubljana is only 30min drive.

Beautiful town, especially historical part of the city.

Beautiful town, especially historical part of the city. It's interesting how historical town is surrounded by two rivers, and it makes a green oasis in the middle of the town. Food is amazing, special recommendation for Gostilna Kot for local food and Das ist Walter for bosnian cuisine. The location of the city is perfect for exploring Slovenia.

From the first moment we felt at home there.

From the first moment we felt at home there. Friendly and warm welcome, real surprise when we opened our rooms, something unique. I hope that I can travel to Kranj a few more times and of course stay at hotel Actum. An absolute must.

I have visited Slovenija many times, but for some reason I...

I have visited Slovenija many times, but for some reason I missed Kranj. What a lovely little old city, that houses many artists, poets, painter, writers, etc. I hope to return post-Covid when I can experience their musical performances, art exhibits etc. Kranj is a unknown little gem. One or two days should be spent there.

Everything was above my expectations. The property is located in a green area with clean air and gorgeous view to the mountains. Entire property was very clean, room was cosy and nice smelling, bed and pillows very comfortable allowing to feel rested even after just couple of hours of sleeping. The host is very nice, stepping up to help with everything I needed. I could feel relaxed even I was in a business trip. I enjoyed so much staying there and I will definitely choose it again next time when I will go to Brdo pri Kranju.

There wasn’t a catering area in the description. There’s a hob, sink and microwave an Unexpected bonus. Most areas were clean (maybe a deep clean required following a busy summer season). Comfortable and fresh smelling sheets. Friendly receptionist. Great location for hidden gem in Slovenia
