Simple and functional. No design, no modern furnitures or decoration. The place is old but not too bad. Property is up hill so get ready to go up.

A 3-minute walk from Kata Beach, Sugar Marina Resort – FASHION – Kata Beach features boutique-style rooms with private bathrooms and a fitness center. Free WiFi is available as well.

The room was a little dark and wet because of sun didn’t come to the bottom floor . Same of electricity didn’t work, but beds were really comfortable. Nice breakfast at the near restaurant and nice staff. Environment is good and really quiet, near the building you can find lovely coffee, shops and massage places

Freedom Kata is located in Kata Beach, within a 5-minute walk of Kata Beach and 3.5 miles of Chalong Pier.

Wonderful staff. Bo, the manager is lovely, and Tan and Mao are both such talented massage therapists in addition to also being the house keepers. The value for the quality and great location cannot be beat, imo. Definitely staying there again.

Located on Kata Hills, CC's Hideaway Kata offers spacious rooms with views of the ocean and pool.

The pool view room was super nice & clean, as well as the bathroom. The pool was really fun and clean, loved the flamingo floatie! There’s also a lot of yoga classes and muay thai, but we only got to try one by the sunset which was incredible.

The Melody Phuket located in Kata Beach and short drive from both Kata and Karon Beaches. Location in a very convenient: Makro store, 7/11, supper market, fresh market, bars (for cheap price).

Very clean and tidy, staff very friendly. Good location close to many shops and only a short walk to the beach

    Clean sandy beach.

    Clean sandy beach. Comfy chaise-longues for 150B (first row) / 100B (other rows). The entry to the sea is not steep and clean as well, the water is completely transparent. There are stands with refreshing drinks every 200m.

    Kata Beach area was ok to visit but a short stay not more than 4 days. Do not stay at Beyond Kata as there were numerous problems with value for money in accommodation standards, pool too small for that size of resort, most staff did not understand English and breakfasts were boring as each morning serving same food with no attempt to vary. Very poor and lacking pool side service.

    Perhaps the best beach in Phuket. Crystal clear water, good swimming north and south rocky/cliff areas of beach during high season. Clean. Not overcrowded. Kata Noi is a small place that is clean, well run.

    Kata was ok, hotel was nice enough but dated, staff lovely. Wouldn’t go back to Phuket or Kata, too tacky and seedy. I am older and appreciate nice hotels and resorts. Maybe if I was in my twenties again I would have enjoyed more. We travelled to several parts of Thailand and understand it is not as developed as some resorts but Phuket is not for me.

    Kata beach was a great area to be , it was a busy place but far quieter then karon and petang which are super busy, great area for families and couples, if you want to party and be crazy go petang and karon.

    Fabulous beach, great to walk along.

    Fabulous beach, great to walk along. The street vendors were the and accessible- but not in your face which is so nice Loungers and brollies are too crowded on the main beach entrance so could do with being moved aside

    We loved our stay at OK Phuket. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious, the location was quiet but still central and within walking distance to Kata beach, Kata night market and plenty of food options. However, the highlight of our stay was the fact that we were so well taken care of by the owners. From providing a private tour to the cultural sights to our Phi Phi Island tour to arranging a taxi to the airport. We felt as if we were coming home to our parents at night haha. Would highly highly recommend OK Phuket to stay in!

    The swimming pools were incredible and staff impeccable and helpful. It was a great spot for a short getaway from Bangkok and I would highly recommend staying here if possible. The hotel is near kata beach and a short drive to Patong and Old Phuket Town
