Bang Tao is a beautiful beach and to stay in the area means that you are never very far from it. It's very quiet (compared to areas like Patong!) and I loved walking the beach at sunset to find one of the lovely beachfront bars or seafood restaurants. It's also quite an easy scooter (I use Grab) ride to Nai Thon beach which is gorgeous, with a strip of markets, shops, massage spots and more bars and cafes.Guest review bykarenc286Australia - Review score

One of the best beaches in Phuket in my opinion.
One of the best beaches in Phuket in my opinion. The sand is white and soft. The water is clear and beautiful. There are waves so be careful sometimes when it becomes rough. There's no rocks in the water so it is pleasant to swim. One big no no for me and many other women and men is that the people that come to the beach dress very indecent and it's very embarrassing to see grown adults dressing so badly. They should not even be wearing clothes at this rate. I know their culture is like that but it makes me feel very uncomfortable. Noone will be walking around showing off their diamonds in public.
