It felt like a lush jungle getaway, has everything you need, laundry, pool and gym. We got a bigger room and we were so impressed by the space we got to relax in. Loads of parking for scooters and cars as well!

The Wing Boutique Hotel - Chiang Mai
What a great, friendly, intimate experience, with only 23 rooms.
This hotel certainly boasts a unique comfy atmosphere. Located in the heart of plenty options; restaurants, cafes, beauty stores and much more.
I arrived late to my hotel, 11 April, 2025, do to most flights on Thai Airways being fully booked from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, because of Songkran 2025 Festival.
I arrived and quickly checked in to my room by 21:30. Wow, when you first walk in, you can see large hallway to your room, and a big open space King size bedroom.
This hotel has great small attention to details. My towels were on the bed, instead of bathroom, made in the shape of Thai Elephants. 🐘 What a unique touch and great pride to welcome guests to Thai authenticity. 😊🙏
Bed was very comfortable with great A/C to personally control your desired setting. Bathroom was clean and good to use.
Breakfast was good, with limited options but great food. They offer 3 tables inside and two outside to enjoy your breakfast or to sit and enjoy the nature all around you.
Overall, I can’t wait to stay here again. The staff are friendly and kind. I recommend this hotel if you’re looking for intimate atmosphere.

LOCATION!!!!! Right within the walls and so close to so many good restaurants. Simply walk half a block to the gate and there is always a tuktuk waiting. The staff were kind and helpful. The free breakfast was SO GOOD and so big and such good quality food. The room was so clean. The pool was always sparkling clean and we certainly used it. They have a laundry service with quick turn around.

Surrounded by Thailand’s highest mountains, Chiang Mai is the beloved, idyllic and somewhat mystical capital of the North. With more than 300 temples, it's considered one of the most important cultural centers in the country.
Despite being Thailand's fifth-largest city, Chiang Mai still has a relaxed and laid-back feel. Modernity, trendy shops and boutique hotels haven’t altered much of its picturesque and peaceful atmosphere.
This reputation is partly due to its proximity to lush green areas, mountains like Doi Suthep, and its panoramic Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep temple. The Doi Inthanon National Park is 37 miles away with Thailand’s highest mountain.
Hotels in Chiang Mai’s old city center are a popular choice, with picturesque scenery featuring its moat and older temples. Chiang Mai hotels can also be found around the Chang Klhan Rd, where the famous Night Bazaar takes place.
The city’s nightlife runs along the Loi Kroh Rd, while Ratchadamneon Road hosts the main Sunday night pedestrian market. Don’t forget to buy an umbrella from Bo Sang and eat a bowl of kao soi.
Whether you arrive at Chiang Mai International Airport or come by land from Bangkok, don’t miss "The Rose of the North" deals on Booking.com!

Everyone expects different things but I was happy with what we did. We were told about The Faces restaurant which was very beautiful to look at. I have to say though that the Wua Lai Boutique did very good meals too. They arranged a driver for us one day and he took us to some temples and gardens which we enjoyed.

Chiang Mai became one of my most favorite cities of all time...
Chiang Mai became one of my most favorite cities of all time, almost instantly. Old Town is full of gardens, plants, finest architecture, cafes and restaurants. The jazz club at North Gate is a must visit at Saturday nights. People are respectful. Coffees are divine. Just outside old city you would find it difficult to choose between the night markets. All the temples are beautiful and there are more than 300 of them. The city celebrates new year (Songkran) in another level- this means it's amazing but not for the weak. Last not for the least; enterance of an olympic pool surrounded by banana trees is 80 baths.

I went to Chiang Mai on a workation and was there for 6 days. There are good markets, restaurants and sights to see. The temples, and there are a lot of them, were stunning. All in all, a great trip. The Thai smiles and hospitality without the craziness of other Thai locations. A relaxed and friendly vibe.

The city itself is mixed with modern and ancient in a way you feel very chill. There are lots of nice cafes, local food in walking distance. You can enjoy touring in a city with rental bikes or walk in the old city. It's a cultural city but has shopping malls in some areas. very convenient. if you are solo travel, u can call grab to pick you up. I recommend to visit in Oct-Dec. nice weather.

Very clean place compared to Pattaya and Patong.
Very clean place compared to Pattaya and Patong. No beaches just beautiful mountains and country views. Different things to see compared to other parts of Thailand. Many temples in Old town to see. Lovely foods, very fresh, lovely people. Loved our cooking class with Emma at Thai Cottage and tour to the country.

Pleasant family run hotel, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
This is the second time I have stayed at this property. The owners even remembered me from my previous stay.
The rooms are a good size, comfortable and clean with air-conditioning that works well and a decent hot shower. It's in an excellent location close to the Old City and everything you need for your stay, including their own cannabis dispensary.
I would definitely come back for a third stay here.
Very good location in the heart of Old City.
Personal were fantastic, very helpful, always available with advice for tours.Breakfasts is a la carte, you have to choose from a lost of options. Manager of hotel always smiling and speaking with all guests trying to do all the best for tourists comfort. Because we stay longer, she offers us a free dinner with different very delicious Thai dishes.
Lovely little hotel within the walls of the old city. Great location for getting around the old city, but you’ll need a Grab/Tuk Tuk if you’re headed to the Nightbizzare or it’s a 30-40 minute walk. Our room was a nice size, good AC, comfortable bed, and generally very pleasant.
The hotel is amazing. The room was very big and comfortable, very pretty decoration. The pool is also amazing. The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is really close to one of the entrances to the old city, very fast from the airport.
