Very beautiful resort with an amazing seasview villa, i like the room size and the pool was huge, bathroom was amazing and the breakfast was fabulous. Friendly staff, fast response. They helped too much with my infant by proving bathtab and sleeping cot and many other infants essentias.
The charming Kantary Bay is a beach-front hotel, 15 minutes away from Phuket town.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable-they let us check in early and check out late free of charge. Thank you so much! The hotel is really beautiful and peaceful and the swimming pools are really lovely. It's in a really quiet location, but close to beautiful beaches. A wonderful stay!

Very disapointing I came with high expectations and they were not fullfiled:
1. The staff at the front desk were not friendly at all. I arrived after a long flight to Thiland and hardly a smile from any of the receptionists.
I was looking for some attractions to do and was looking through their book for about half an hour trying to decide what to choose. No one aproached or tried to help or offer advice. That happened twice.
2. It was my birthday, and a family member from
US waned to order a surprise cake for me. He called me up to ask if I got it, I had no idea what he was talking about, aperantly they just left it in the room fridge without notifying me at all + did no add the note he asked to print for me.
3. When I arrived I asked where can I change money. The receptionist said "turn right and walk 10 minutes" , the problem is after you start going right, there are 2options of turns and no one to ask as there is litrelly nothing around. They could be a bit more specific..
4. I had some ants in the room+ 2 baby spiders. I understand this is a tropical island and yet this is a 5 star resort.
5. There is no gegi milk option in the restaurant
for coffee. Only cow milk. I woul think in 2023 there ould be at least one other option for vegans.
6. There is more but I made my point..

My wife and I rate this beach experience as excellent for swimming (but not for surfing!), and although best not to swim at lower tides due to the exposed reef, medium and hight tides are excellent. It's safe , protected from the surf, and clean for kids and beginner swimmers. Best things are the great service provided by the KANTARY hotel (by a covered vehicle), departing every 15 minutes, and the free towels (for Kantary guests) and affordable restaurant at the Panwa Beach, located just over the hill.

Panwa Beach is very peaceful, away from the crowds, but not dead. There are people walking along the beach and a handful of bar/restaurants along the shore, but it isn't too loud or crazy at night. A nice peaceful getaway. As for the swimming, maybe not the best as the ground under the water along the beach seemed to have a lot of large rocks and other items in it. I wouldn't exactly recommend it for swimming. But for relaxing, boating, getting a few drinks, it's great. My recommendation would be to stay at a resort/hotel along Panwa and renting a car so that you can drive to other beaches for swimming, such as Ya Nui beach.

There was a small beach close to our apartment which was located next to Panwa Cape Viewpoint. This beach is very private, small but beautiful. Another bigger beach which is called Panwa Beach is close to the hotel Cape Panwa Hotel. There is regular free shuttle bus from Kantari Hotel to Cape Panwa Hotel, which is provides daily every 20 minutes.

Staff were very friendly , my room on the first njgt had a massive leak in the ceiling - so had a night of dripping sounds onto the floor. I requested a new room the next morning and was moved to a similar room ( with a less good view but no complaints there it was dry so that’s what counts).
Generally found the resort in need of a big update - looks and feels very dated.

Ao yon beach is small, peacefull, quite area.
Ao yon beach is small, peacefull, quite area. Sea experience 9/10 but dont forget to take sea shoe there is little amount of rock in the sea... beautifull beach and view... rent a longtail boat from the Village people for the islands around..
A very nice hotel, friendly staff, you just go downstairs and you are at a very nice and quite beach, probably one of the best of south Phuket. We got an upgraded room with a sea view and it was big and clean. Also special thanks to the management for the New Year traditional Phuket sweets (would be nice to have something like this between breakfast options as well). Spa, which is promote at the hotel, is pretty expensive, but the quality of the place and massage was great.
It’s new luxurious boutique hotel villas five star in Panwa, Phuket. Got great view, small nice clean beach down the hill, very nice breakfast, all beef and chicken in menu was halal, spa experience was perfect. very quiet hotel, bar on top has beautiful view. Our butler Taya who perfectly served us all time we stayed was very professional, kind , cheerful and helpful! definitely would recommend the hotel
Location of the property is in very quite, lovely place with, amazing views. We have been on Phuket on low season and it was the best beach and best ocean condition we manage to find on low season, and we had a car and travel a lot. If you going to rent a car and going on low season it's the place to go. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, spacious and light.
I love the panwa beach, we went there during man-soon when the sea very rough on other places, panwa is really calm. my kids loved the giant pools, playroom and beach facilities. the hotel offers everything, from canoo to Thai box. the stuff is amazing, the upgraded our room to a pool villa. we had a lovely stay in Pullman. highly recommend for families with children.
Great location.Excellent room and facilities.Food here is delicious with a varied menu for all tastes. Rachel and all the staff at The Cove were so friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed our brief 3 night stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for that special place to relax and enjoy the tranquility it has to offer.
The room size was beyond expectations. However, as expected of all Phuket resorts, there were lizards in the bath which bothered us slightly. The bathtub was exceptionally huge and was great. The private pool was also good and we didn’t have to use the common pool because of it. Wifi was good in the room with decent speeds.
The hotel is really nice and the pool is impressive. Nice rooms and comfortable but maybe some ha gers on the walls or places to hang wet things could be better. The location is OK but there are better places to stay in phuket Island if you want to move around. The village nearby has great restaurants.
This hotel is a nice place to be. The villas (even though not 120 sqm as presented on several vacation websites) are comfortable. And the private pool, the whirlpool, the private beach area, and the view are a huge plus. My girlfriend and I really appreciated all of it – a lot.
There were amazing staff members. I was welcomed with a bowl of fruit and a drink. When it was time to head to the airport, they helped us find a taxi. I’m very appreciative! The view of the beach and food at the hotel’s restaurant were amazing. I would highly recommend.
Surrounding and atmosphere is the best of the resort. Clean, friendly, nice sunsets and not the touristic Phuket.
You are a bit away of beaches (resort beach not so good for swimming) but you don’t have the bad sides of touristic people.
Beautiful setting, marvelous beach and beach restaurant, comfortable room with nice views, very professional and polite staff.. Excellent breakfast! Shuttle to/from Phuket town very convenient.
Breakfast: Exceed expectation of breakfast menu: wonderful for my child.
Beach: Wonderful sea viewed
Hotel facilities: Excellent
Cafe: Great coffee bean and cake
Great location & views for a quieter area of Phuket. The bathtub and jacuzzi pool were a real treat. The stairs walk out onto the beach and a great price
