I just stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and it was a perfect stay. The hotel is located in a central area of Ankara, full of restaurants and cafes but in a quiet end. My room had a front side window but it wasn't noisy at all. Breakfasts are very tasty, coffee from the machine, superb selection of breads and cheese (you must try kasar and cecir). The staff is helpful and they do what they can to make your stay comfortable. The temperature in my room was adjustable and even it was cold outside it was pleasant inside. And it was a non smoking room with no cigarettes smell.

It was a great place to land before heading to Istanbul.
It was a great place to land before heading to Istanbul. Very walkable, safe for single women and not crowded with tourists. The metro is fantastic and there are many beautiful public parks!
Not many people speak English but we could get by with some limited Arabic and lots of hand gestures with accomodating city hosts.

I loved the city structure, peoples hospitality, as well as calmness . However in rash hours it was a bit annoying to reach the destinations. Since I already had been in Istanbul, I can fairly say that Ankara is much more beautiful than Istabul as a touristic city. I would definitely travel again. Not to mention that they have installed buttons for quick requesting a taxi which was nice.

I love Ankara - the awe-inspiring landmarks, such as the majestic Atatürk Mausoleum (I see it from the top floor of my hotel), stand tall as a testament to the city's proud history and the visionary spirit of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It gives such magic and confirms true glory – lights in the evening make me think of some truly enchanting atmosphere. The lovely streets of Ankara are adorned with stunning architecture, beautiful parks, and bustling markets, all reflecting the city's unique character and cultural diversity.

I didn't experience any old or interesting features there.
All the food in restaurants are more or less the same throughout Turkiye. I'm sure there are subtle regional differences. But I couldn't pick any.

Ankara is an undiscovered gem in Turkey.
Ankara is an undiscovered gem in Turkey. People think if this city only as the capital city; however, it offers many sites and attractions worth visiting and explore. The region around the hotel has many restaurants, cafes, pubs etc., the city has numerous museums, concert halls, parks and shopping venues. Furthermore, it's the most orderly city in Turkiye; hence, getting around is not a problem at all.

The city is very car-centric.
The city is very car-centric. Even if the places you want to visit are close to you, you'll probably need to cross 10-lane motorways to reach them. However, there are some great examples of 20th-century architecture and interesting archeological museums.
Hotel staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. Due to covid-19 pandemic a lot of things and services in Turkey were disrupted during my stay and it often affected my plans considerably. Consequently, they often had to be significantly modified on the spot which wasn't always an easy task. However, hotel staff truly went out of their way to assist me even if in truth that needed not necessarily be their concern. And no one could've blamed them if they had said so.
My stay was truly exceptional, defined by the luxurious comfort of my room and the unparalleled service from the hotel staff. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the high-end amenities, was curated for comfort and elegance. The staff's dedication to guest satisfaction was evident, offering personalized attention and going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. This hotel has set a new standard for excellence in hospitality.
- location was great
- staff were amazingly friendly
- booked the king suite so it was super spacious and amazingly well equipped with everything needed.
- highly recommended eventhough might be a little expensive
- they have a buffet for meals other than breakfast, so whether you have it included in the booking or pay for it, you could enjoy the wide variety of food and the price is not high for a 5 star hotel.
First of all I'd like to emphasize that at reception they spoke English and could answer all questions including ones about tourist attractions!
The location was very good - close enough to the main draw - Citadel , Ulus metro station and pick up point of the bus to airport .
The buffet breakfast was very good with variety of food.
The hotel evidently was refurbished and everything looks modern.
Location is excellent, it's in the city centre, with lots of cosy restaurants and bars around it and a young and hip crowd. It's a theme hotel with paintings of knights and princesses on the walls and wooden lion heads on the doors. Great wood/artwork. The room was spacious and cosy. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially the evening shift. Breakfast was fresh.
We liked to much your staff attitude and the cleanness of the hotel, the room was so comfortable and quite and friendly ambient. The reception staff so professional and during our stay we are thankful for their help; especially Aysima was very helpful and quick responder to our request. All were very kind and we would like definitely to be there again.
We really liked the hotel, we came with our family, the room was very quiet, we didn't hear anyone else on the floor. We really enjoyed the food in the restaurant, especially the French onion soup. The staff were very polite and accommodating. If we are in Ankara again, we will definitely visit again.
Great location, near the consulates and 10 minutes to Kizilay by walk.
Our room was very spacious and clean with nice decorations.
The breakfast is great and full of choices. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. We will definitely come back to Hotel Best the next time we are in Ankara.
Excellent hotel for context of Turkey, located at end of Ankara train station accessed from street. Decor clean and modern and large size spaces. Good service from front desk organising taxi bookings and other enquires. 24 hour desk and English speaking staff predominantly.
Camre from Kahya got in touch with me through whatsapp few days before the booking to check if needed any support before arrival.
Front desk at the hotel was also very friendly and spoke good English.
Everything else was as you would expect from a 4 star hotel.
Hotel is situated in a lovely area of Ankara with lots of shops, coffee shops and restaurants. It is within a walking distance to a bus stop to catch a bus to airport. Staff was nice, they upgraded our room, so our stay was very pleasant.
The hotel is so close to the airport and it takes just few minutes to be in the terminal. The room was just perfect to relax in the middle of long travelling time. Receptionists were supportive and highly professionals.
Fantastic hotel for the price! The only hotel I've found in Turkey that actually had a bath tub! And a separate shower. The beds were so comfortable, too! Good sized room. Fancy elevators.
Bedrooms were a generous size, the hotel was close to the old town (taxi took 10 minutes) and the subway outside the hotel took you to the city centre within minutes
