Very cute rooms with a fireplace and towel warmer for the winter. There were coops with chickens and ducks that you could see from the lodge where breakfast is served. The lodge feels homey and welcoming. The hotel owner speaks English and was incredibly helpful answering all our questions. Breakfast was delicious and a large portion.

My husband and I travel to Istanbul quite often, and we can confidently say that this hotel offers a truly high level of service. Delicious and varied breakfasts with a stunning view, very attentive and helpful staff always ready to assist. The location is excellent — just a few minutes’ walk to the tram, which makes getting around the city very convenient. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Staying at Buyan Han was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how much thought and care had gone into every single detail. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, peaceful, and has a truly special atmosphere that made our stay feel exceptional. What made the experience even more memorable was the incredible staff, specially the Manager lady, Mrs Selda. Everyone was genuinely kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Their attention to detail and willingness to help with anything we needed made us feel truly cared for. Breakfast was “first-class” and “top quality”!! I stayed there with my parents and we all had such a lovely time. Buyan Han is one of those places where you leave with wonderful memories and genuinely wish you could stay longer. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We will absolutely remember this experience and would be delighted to come back. Highly recommended! ❤️

This charming six-room guest house is a short walk away from the main street but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The owner. Ruhan, is a remarkable host. He remembered our names and welcomed us warmly at every opportunity. He was an excellent communicator, attentive to our needs and was very helpful with all logistical and planning questions. His sister, Hanife, makes wonderful homemade breakfasts and keeps the rooms spotless. If you are looking for an authentic cave house stay with all the modern amenities, this is the place. Worth every penny!

Very clean and the hotel is next to the sunset point, which is the highest point in Cappadocia, you can enjoy the view directly from your room or their terrace. We enjoyed the fantastic view from their terrace at night with a bottle of cappadocia local wine. We really love our two night stay at this hotel. The manger, Mr. Han, is very hospitable, and he will deal with everything you need during your stay.

The staff. Wonderful attention. Everyone was so friendly and ready to help. You can tell their mission is to give the best customer service possible. They helped us book the green tour, airport transport and balloon ride, and gave us tips on how to reach the attractions of the red tour by ourselves. Breakfast was a buffet with a lot of variety and a lovely terrace with cushions where you can watch the balloons. They brought fruit or nuts in the evenings to our rooms for a snack, and packed us sandwiches on our last day since we had a very early flight. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the town center. The manager said goodbye to us in person and gave us balloon keychains as a souvenir.

The hotel is amazing, it's located in a much quiet place with only less than 10mins drive to the main centre for activities. But we love Urgup much more, with walking distance, you get to see beautiful view, and can also watch balloon in early morning if they are flying, plenty of food options in this area, and we even had our best meal in Turkey. Staffs are super friendly and helpful, with a cute dog! Breakfast are also way beyond my expectations, very homemade and delicious, everyday they change the food. The room is very spacious, considering its a real cave hotel, so its very rare to have a real window there. Bathroom is also very clean and nice.

We absolutely loved our stay in this hotel. The rooms are beautifully designed and right in the center of Ortahisar. Ahmet is such a kind host and organized anything we needed, even a babysitter so that we could go on a balloon ride. I would instantly book there again.
