The breakfast was superb. The location, too. From the terrace one could enjoy a great view while having breakfast. Mount Nemrut was easily accessible within half an hour. The person who took us there was nice.

The hotel is right next to Mt Nemrut. From there you can drive to the top and walk 2 minutes to the statues. In harsh windy weather, this is the greatest feature of this hotel location. From all other approaches to Nemrut, you have to drive a couple hours from your hotel and walk 30 min uphill, often in adverse weather conditions. The hotel is very basic, but they give you dinner and breakfast, so you can easily see sunset and sunrise, and save the 4 hr return trip in one day to visit Nemrut for 20 minutes which most visitors do. Highly recommend spending the night at Gunes so you can spend more time enjoying Mt Nemrut.
Located in the town of Kahta, 19 mi from Adiyaman, this hotel offers free two-way shuttle service to the Bus Terminal. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

The property was very nice. The hotel manager is awesome, he provides tours to Mt Nemrut and he speaks good English. He is very generous and very kind. I came as a solo female traveller and the hotel made me feel very welcome.

Karadut is a village with no special value, except maybe the locality. I think it is worth finding cheaper accommodation further from mountain and come only for one full day - visiting Arsameia and go to Nemrut 2 hours before sunset to avoid extrem number of tourist groups coming especially for sunset. Seljuk - Urartu fortress is currently closed for renovation, but looks nice from little distance.
We stayed at this hotel in the middle of winter, just before it closed for the winter season. The owner, Murat, basically came to open just for us, since we were the only two clients those days. Despite the cold, the room was warmed up by a stove and Murat gave us breakfast and dinner everyday. The accomodation is very conveniently placed to do the tour of the area, being literally a few km from Mount Nemrut. I would definitely recommend the place for those of you slightly more adventours and wanting to stay close to the mountains.
Convenience of location. Staff are nice. Food was good. I arranged a ride from the airport to the hotel. I paid 3400 Turkish lira for: Ride from and to the airport, several touristic spots that you want to see while you are here, and a ride to mount nemrut for sunrise. Room was comfortable, clean, and spacious.
My drivers Memet and Kokrut (I think that's his name) were excellent. They got me to the hotel with many good stops and then to the airport. I was super late and they flew me there very fast.
Recommended stay.
It's the closest town to nemrut mount. Besides the owner is great, he was really warm and was looking after us. The place is so clean with hot water and quiet, so it was possible to rest.
It's not a luxury hotel but it has great cost-benefit ratio, additionally you Will support the community
Totally recommended if you go to nemrut Mountain. My only advise would be to take your own beers if you go there as you cant find in the town.
We were contacted a few times by teh hotel before we arrived, giving advice about how to find the place (easy) and about the weather conditions up on the mountain. Ahmet, the owner's son was a great host and he got his friend Ahmet to guide us up to the mountain in the snow, which we would not have managed without him.
They made a tasty dinner of chicken and salad in the evening and rovided us with a hearty breakfast in the morning.
Our stay in this hotel was perfect. From the homemade food, the location (10min from Nemrut Mount) the accessibility, the service offered by our hosts.
The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable.
This hotel is perfectly located to visit Nemrud Mount and the surrounding areas that offer wonderful views.
Located at the entrance of a small village, the location is ideal for a quiet stay.
The view from the rooms are breathtaking.
The hotel had the best WIFI during our entire trip to Turkey. I communicated with the owner via Whatsapp and he's very responsive. It's very easy to find the hotel and we parked our car across the street in a semi-private parking place. The room and bathroom were clean. There's AC in the room. If you are visiting Mt Nemrut either for sunrise or sunset, I will recommend this place.
this is the closest hotel to the monument of Nemrut Dagi & if you want to see the sunrise, this is a good place as 20 minutes away! the rooms are very simple & small but clean. The swimming pool is good (with some sand) & has some sun chairs. The dinner is simple (if vegetarian, salad, mezze & rice!), as is the breakfast buffet.
The view on the valley is splendid!
Wonderful location on the valley slope, with a great view, unforgettable dinner at the terrace with one of the best night sky in our trips. Hotel is situated no more than 10km drive to Nimmrud Mountain - Nemrut Dagi is worth to visit both on sunset and sunrise, don't skip one of them!!!
Great hospitality. Great food. Big swimming pool.
For visiting awesome Nemrut Dagi and rest, this hotel really is the best possible choice in the area. Do not expect luxury, but really you may have a good night here. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, food is pretty good, serving is very polite and fast. Prices are not high at all. Vue is fantastic
It has everything you need - hot water, a delicious breakfast, Wi-Fi, and kind staff. Especially because Nemrut Dag is a bit away from civilisation ) The guesthouse is located 7 km from the summit of Nemrut. Of course, it's not a hotel, but it's absolutely worth its money.
It's close to the site but make sure you approach the site from the South as we came from the North and the road at the top of the mountain does not connect and cost us 1.5 hours drive to the hotel.
The wifi was decent and parking easy. Breakfast was fine.
Mehmet, the manager, was amazing. Very helpful 👌 ☺️ Mehmet, Mustafa, 👨🍳 chef, helpers very kind and helpful 😀. Mountains surainding the hotel were spectacular. Grounds around the hotel were keeped well. There was no internet and no TV service.
The pension wasn't a luxury 5 star hotel but it was clean, staff were friendly and the service we received more than enough what we have paid for it. I can't complain. Thank you so much Murat you were such a great host.
We chose the hotel so we can climb Mt Nemrut for the sunrise. Absolute mistake, do not do it. It might seem like one of the better options for staying in the area, but it is way too expensive for what you get.
This place looks magical, surrounded by mountains and sites. It has incredible views, cliff restaurant and good home-style athmosphere. The hotel is run by family from the region. Staff is very supportive.
As a solo trvaler without any vehicles, hotel host really helps me a lot for arranging a nice journey here in Nemurut mountain. And the price is worthy and affordable. I really enjoy the time here.
When visiting Mount Nemrut, you cannot beat this hotel for its location! If you want to watch sunset or sunrise on Mount Nemrut, you want to book this hotel as it's available.
