We had a very good stay at Hyatt Centric Old Town Alexandria. The room was always clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. We especially loved the bathroom shower—it was modern and very comfortable to use. The staff were all nice, friendly, and welcoming, making the check-in and overall experience pleasant. The Hotel was VERY nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Very close to train station. Alot within walking distance to hotel. We chose this hotel because my friend and I both have a child with Autism that are crazy about trains and the hotel faces the Amtrak lines. I requested a room facing those tracks, the hotel accommodated us and the view was incredible. Our children were ecstatic. Best part of the trip.

We lived here for many years, so are fully aware of Alexandria’s many assets: shopping, history, nearness to D.C. and Mt Vernon. The Del Ray neighborhood nearby offers great restaurants (Del Ray Cafe!!!) and is not far. Location on the Potomac offers beautiful views and even boat transportation to the city in some instances.

Well.. thank you for being my home for a one full month! I was in need for a comfy place like this .. the location is really great and close to groceries.. it is very safe… The staff are nice and they do help you with all what you need …even amazon packages they kept it safe for me.. great definately will stay there again as my no. 1 choice hotel

The proximity of the hotel to Alexandria was great!

The proximity of the hotel to Alexandria was great! Alexandria has so much to offer. We visited the river front and strolled the streets. We had a great lunch at Union Street Public House. We paid $20 for all day parking which seemed outrageous at first, but we knew our car was safe in the lot and it was centrally located.

I booked this property specifically because it appeared in my Booking.com search results for hotels offering **free parking and free breakfast**. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and did not match the expectations created during the booking process. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find that the hotel had **no on-site parking area whatsoever**, not even a designated space to temporarily unload luggage during check-in. We were forced to stop on the street and unload our bags while blocking traffic, which was stressful and inconvenient. The disappointment continued at check-in when I was informed by the front desk staff member, Micha, that parking was available only through a separate arrangement at an additional cost of **$45 per night**, and that **breakfast was not included**. This directly contradicted the reasons I selected this property in the first place. While the hotel itself may have other positive qualities, the inaccurate or misleading presentation of key amenities significantly impacted my stay. As a traveler, I rely on the accuracy of booking platforms when making decisions. Discovering that two of the most important amenities I specifically searched for were unavailable left me feeling misled, frustrated, and disappointed. I strongly encourage the hotel management and booking platforms to ensure that amenity listings are accurate and transparent so that future guests can make informed decisions and avoid similar experiences.

Lovely place with many places to eat, drink and enjoy being by the river. The main street is bustling and packed with options for dining and shopping. The free circular bus is great for getting around and to the subway. An easy journey into Washington.

I definitely will return this was a quick trip to spend time with my granddaughter and my son in Easter. The hotel was incredible love the shower bathroom very clean. transportation is very easy to find. I will return to them again

The rooms were spacious, clean and very well equipped. So we had a Nespresso machine and some delicious snacks in the room. The gym was very well equipped and the Hotel has a cinema. Not to forget, we were able to borrow great e-bikes free of charge for a tour through the city. The staff was very friendly, always available and tried hard. We would definitely come back.

The check in process was very easy. We had room with fridge, tv and 2 bed. They were comfortable and big more than I wish. The bathroom was okay, perfect for 2 nights. The motel has loads of parking spot. I think this is a very good hotel I can recommend.
