Location was close to the venue we were attending for a show. I like the hot tub in our room. Great way to relax with my husband and celebrate my birthday

Wasn't crazy about location. Some areas were lovely but some were run down.
All the roads seemed to be choppy, and lots of work being done on the roads. Strange, but traffic lights had a very long wait.

This is an incredible stay that should not be missed.
This is an incredible stay that should not be missed. The home has amazing history and a phenomenal location across from Emily Dickinsons home. The B&B is meticulously beautiful in every way. If you are interested in architecture, decorative arts, and history you need to experience the dedication and detail the hosts have made possible to bring value and history, comfort ,and pleasure to this stay. It’s a must stay if you have an opportunity to be in Amherst, MA, any time soon! Make a point of visiting on your journey through Western, MA. You will not be disappointed.

The Amherst campus was pristine and memorable in its additions since l attended decades ago.
Bucolic location has been upgraded with additional science, athletic and dorm buildings while maintaining the original beauty of its location in rolling hills of New England. The history alone is worth the visit.

The Amherst Inn is very attractive both inside and outside. The building itself is handsome and welcoming in its turn-of-the-century dignity.
The Inn is filled with great antique furniture, which includes numerous Tiffany lamps and even an organ. Aside from the wonderful lounge area, there is an attractive garden with places to sit. There is sufficient parking. A traditional, full breakfast is cooked to order.
It's an easy walk to the center of Amherst town and Amherst College.
The hotel is very run down, looks way worse in reality than pictures. To say it’s a budget hotel, is to do a disservice to the word budget!
The rooms have paint peeling off the ceilings and we had to move rooms twice to get a room with functioning aircon/heating! The hallways were very dirty, rooms dusty and bathroom not very clean. Only positives were bed was ok, clean linen and staff were good, really tried to help with the challenges but powerless to solve.
