LOVED LOVED LOVED this hotel. We booked here last minute (as in the same day) due to canceled travel due to avalanche, they managed to fit us in and gave us an early check in. The staff are absolutely amazing, everyone we met who worked there had great customer service. The girl who checked us in was amazing and so sweet. We also loved the bar and the staff that worked there were so lovely too. The room was nice and comfortable too

I chose to stay in lesser cost hotels for 2 different parts of my trip.
Anchorage was the jumping-off point for my 10-day vacation:
2 nights to begin, then took The Alaska Railroad train to Fairbanks for 2 nights.
Then, back to Anchorage for 2 nights, then took the train to Seward for 2 nights, then back to Anchorage.
I didn't rent a car, but walked all over downtown Anchorage and Fairbanks and Seward.
Ate some AMAZING meals in all 3 cities!!!!!
Saw some GORGEOUS landscapes and BEAUTIFUL wildlife!!!! (I didn't get to see any bears, but the Moose, Bald Eagles, Dall Sheep and Trumpeter Swans were AWESOME!!!)
Met some very nice people, both local to each location, and sweet visitors.
It is almost like people are relaxed while in Alaska!
Not a SINGLE mosquito or fly to bother me!!!
Temperatures were in the mid-40's to low-70's, this was from June 4-13, 2025.
There was a little drizzle for a few of the first days of my trip, GORGEOUS blue clear skies the rest!
Not quite 24hrs of sun, more like 21-22hrs! But, it didn't bother my sleep - every hotel has black-out curtains to help us sleep.
VERY MUCH recommend taking a soothing trip to the Last Frontier - Alaska!!!!

Great city, easy to get around and everything you need.
Great city, easy to get around and everything you need. It’s a bit pricey though. Expect to Pay $5.00 for 1/2 gal. Of milk. They have to import so much and that’s expensive. Nice friendly people! I just got back and there was lots of rain and clouds but the pictures came out ok.

We love our visits to Anchorage.
We love our visits to Anchorage. We will plan special occasions to be spent in Anchorage. My kids love downtown malls, Target, the extra theaters. Diamond center skating rink and Dave & Busters. Everything Fairbanks don't have.
The only thing that can get to us, is traffic

A wonderful place to spend some time.
A wonderful place to spend some time. Had great Mexican food at a place called Xalo's. Stayed near the airport which was also easy to navigate. Drove up the side of a mountain and watched an incredible sunset behind Denali. Visited some of the legal herb shops and found a favorite. Sunsets closer to midnight are great.

Cool scenes, good people mostly.
Cool scenes, good people mostly. Alot of fetty and meth addicts around if you get out on the town too much. But lots to do and plenty to see. Came for work but got to play plenty. Alaska is awesome but alaskans are really bad ass in general. Work hard and play with the passion of a well rounded culturally healthy bunch. Good Christians and family oriented. Thumbs up.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Rooms had just been renovated.
Hotel was clean and quiet. Rooms had just been renovated. The only issue was room was located on the second floor and there was no elevator, and you had to carry your own bags.
My son in law was at the Regional Hospital. The hotel is close to this hospital. I was told I could check in earlier than 3 pm but when I arrived at the hotel I was told not until 3 pm at the earliest. That was a bit disappointing.

It was amazing! We had our best time here while travelling through Alaska. Hosts are unique, helpful, kind and always ready to share valuable information about the city and Alaska itself.
Doug and Heather are wonderful people!
The house has everything you need to make a living. We really felt like we were home.
Great location, not far from downtown but at the same time surrounded by nature. Can’t wait to be back for our next Alaska adventure!!
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, and the reception in the afternoon was nice too. The room was large and very comfortable. We come into Anchorage for shopping once every 3 months or so. This hotel is a great place to stay. You have plenty of room to keep totes. Check out isn't until 12. That extra hour helps a ton when you are trying to get things organized before the flight back home.
What a gorgeous B&B! The place is very clean, the rooms are lovely, the beds are exceptionally comfy and the views while you eat breakfast are stunning.
The host Monica is so lovely and very accommodating. The home cooked breakfast was excellent and had a great variety.
I highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting Anchorage. It was a wonderful start to our visit to Alaska.
It's not a modern hotel, but it was more than adequate for our two night stopover. I loved that they provided a shuttle service for free, we were picked up from the airport, the next day taken to downtown and picked up again, finally we were transferred to our next hotel. Breakfast was also included, I hadn't expected that. There is a great value restaurant next door.
We loved the pool, kids had a blast. I liked that there was a newspaper out every morning as I like to complete the crossword puzzle. Shuttle service to/from airport is a definite plus and did highly influence our choice of hotel.
