We were told the pool was closed by the health department,...

We were told the pool was closed by the health department, but when we checked, people were still using it and getting into the water. On top of that, there were dogs in the pool with them, which is extremely unsanitary and unacceptable. There were also people set up with camping tents inside the area, which made the situation even more concerning and inappropriate. Overall, this was very disappointing and raised serious questions about cleanliness, safety, and how rules are being enforced at this motel.

Bakersfield has the best weather during late winter/ early...

Bakersfield has the best weather during late winter/ early spring. I would advise people to avoid the winter and autumn months as it is regularly triple heat for days in a row. Traffic is around 3-6pm. There is construction around the freeway so be aware of that. Lake Isabella, Lake Ming, Hart Park offer park/ recreation activities. The Padre Hotel is considered one of the more historical places in town that is supposedly hungry. Deward's Ice Cream is a top recommendation as well as Frugatti's.

It's not worth it especially if you have children the...

It's not worth it especially if you have children the environment is bad rooms are not clean sheets have cigarette burns, mild on the window seals ,rust through out their bathroom, a lot people that are on drugs hunched up by the stairs, throw up outside on the sidewalk near rooms after somebody vomited. At least the people were nice when I went into check-in didn't make a complaint just to tired to have to get back in my car and travel but it's a place I will never go to again. This is at 6100 Knudsen Dr. In Bakersfield Ca. When I went on booking com it stated it was a 3 star hotel it's a lie I don't know how they did there rating to get 3 stars but check it out for your own selves.

Bakersfield is bigger than one thinks!

Bakersfield is bigger than one thinks! Full of shops and restaurants and Starbucks. Great weather and big enough to have large variety of shops and things to see and do, but not so big that you cant drive around easily.

Bakersfield has s lot of places to eat.

Bakersfield has s lot of places to eat. Bill Lee’s Chinese food located downtown not too far jump on the freeway. They are fast serve great drinks. We have hockey team catch a game at Rabobank arena. We have a beautiful park Hart Park five minutes away from there is Lake Ming boating ,fishing , camping.

I liked the area of the property as its right next to the on and off ramp for the Hwy. Its right next to the Denny's, well as a Walmart super center! Theres also Wendys, and Starbucks across the street! Its far enough from the inner city were there tends to be a lot of riff raff as well low scale crime, as well as drugs. I felt at peace, and you can tell that the management puts a lot towards 2training her staff! Real good hard-working staff as well as very courteous and attentive to the guests needs! I figured that there would be a lot of noise and everything else that's associated with hotels that are more cost effective.

We only had a short stay here, but we really enjoyed the room which was large, clean, and with a nice lounge area. The hotel seemed to be newly decorated, very modern and with a nice atmosphere. All staff were nice and helpful. The buffet breakfast was actually really good. Easy parking just outside the entrance. We had time to use the pool before we left, and we were the only guests there. The hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely recommend it for a short stopover.

The rooms are really big and clean and has a look as it’s a brand new hotel room. The air conditioner is performing great my room is so cold and it’s 115 degrees outside today. The floors are clean hard wood floors and have a designer look to them. It’s the best hotel to stay at for 66.00 dollars a night

We checked in late and the staff were very welcoming, rooms modern and comfortable. The whole hotel was very clean. There is a large car park out front despite booking.com saying there is no parking at the property. Good selection at breakfast
