The wagon was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Cozy inside. Much better than I was expecting.. I rented it for my fiance as a surprise for his birthday. We were very happy during our stay.

The house was in a great location practically on the lake - it’s a 2 minute walk. Everything was extremely clean. The kitchen had all the necessities so we were able to prepare meals. And they allowed our furry family member to accompany us. It was as if we never left home.

This is a cozy, clean, friendly place run by experienced, genial people. The room and bath (private) were clean and well appointed with chocolates on the pillow, soap, shampoo and conditioner and plenty of generously sized fluffy towels. I only had one breakfast (caused by my schedule, not the owners'), but the breakfast alone was worth the price of admission. Delicious blueberry cheesecake stuffed french toast, generous serving of thick-cut bacon, fresh fruit, juice, tea, coffee available for beverages. These folks know what they're doing and do it well.

Single Island Shores enjoys a location in Hector, 27 miles from Museum of the Earth and 28 miles from Ithaca College. There's a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay.
