Surrounded by the Big Horn Mountains, this motel is 8.2 miles from the Bighorn National Forest. It features free Wi-Fi access and each guest room has a private patio.

Right off of the main street in town, which is under construction as of Apr '25. Very easy to get on/off freeway + a few fast foods restaurants and gas stations near. Facility was QUIET and minimally appointed, and as others have stated, very clean. It was a welcome respite in my travels. As a solo woman (and POC), I can sometimes be in a tough spot if I don't plan well enough or end up driving less/more than planned- making for stops I didn't research. I can always catch if the vibe is off, and will leave in a heartbeat if I don't think I'll be safe or am unwanted. In this instance, I had absolutely 0 reservations, and was able to obtain a room just a few hrs before. The front desk (man-owner?) was genial and quick; my check in took less time than it does at the big chains! He kindly showed me my cabin, and bid me a good evening. The room is as pictured, clean as others have said, and gives a tiny house vibe. Everything you need (minimally), all within an itty bitty space. It's not cramped, and I was able to park literally outside of my door, which is really nice add. You also get a little welcome guidebook with a few rules and suggests for the area. Really appreciate the Z Motel!

The Boho Buffalo Inn has air-conditioned accommodations in Buffalo. There's a terrace and guests can use free WiFi and free private parking.

Our visit was wonderful. The host and her mom treated us extremely well like family. The room was special, the sunroom was wonderful, the gift basket of snacks was great and the fresh pastries from a local bakery and fresh fruit were a wonderful way to start our day. The host also had a gift package the guests could pick from of soaps, shampoo and conditioners made locally. Definitely would stay here again.

    Buffalo is Beautiful.

Buffalo is Beautiful. The town has always been cute, but they have raised the cute factor by 100%. Unfortunately, we were there for an Interment of my husband's ashes, but the cemetery was also beautiful. Everyone was very friendly and we were quite satisfied with the experience.

Buffalo is a quintessential small, western town.

Buffalo is a quintessential small, western town. Full of folks that exude that wonderful, warm "Western Hospitality" Wyoming is known for. If you are luck enough to be there this summer (July 18-21, 2024) be sure to stay over for Longmire Days. If you don't know Longmire, just keep on driving. Can't speak for other restaurants, but if you enjoy family dining and authentic Mexican food then try and get into Papa Binos for lunch or dinner. This is "FAMILY" dining for real. It's Papa's house with a limited number of tables and family members cooking, serving and the little ones running around in the yard. Terrific food!!!

We didn’t like that we didn’t get the room we booked and it was too late to cancel to find a different place! Also the room was dusted and dirt behind bathroom door that wasn’t ours! Overall the place was okay and staff friendly. I especially liked the young man who provided the breakfast, he was very nice and helpful!

I stayed for one night during a long cross-country trip.

I stayed for one night during a long cross-country trip. Check-in was quick, and the desk attendant referred me to a good restaurant nearby (one of the few that was open late on a Sunday night). Wifi, TV, bed and shower were all excellent. Breakfast was ready when I woke up, and I was back on the road before 8.

Buffalo is a very nice little town with friendly people, lots of history, neat little shops, gorgeous scenery nearby and great food and lodging. I highly recommend it! The Occidental Saloon is a great place to eat. A drive to Ten Sleep is worth it as the scenery is incredibly beautiful. The Blue Gables Motel is a wonderful place to stay as it has Cabins and a place to cook outside and a fire in the fire pit in the evening. It is so charming.

The location was absolutely perfect beside the river. We could walk to breakfast at The Bee Cafe and alot of other amenities including the fabulous museum, saloon bar, restaurants, shops. It was nice to have plenty of space compared to a hotel room. It was very clean and the tv living room and bedroom, with Netflix.
