During Christmas Lights show in December at Pine Lodge free bus stops just across the street to bring people to and back from show. Will stay at The Rigdon again.

Moonstone Bar and grill is right on the beach, with lovely views. The service was wonderful. The food is rich and flaverful, mostly American bar style. The bar is fully stocked, the favorite drink seems to be a Bloody Mary. The actual town is cute. Stores seem to center on thrift, and realestate. It has changed a lot since the Covid pandemic.

Cambria is a beautiful, characteristic little coastal town.
Cambria is a beautiful, characteristic little coastal town. There are a lot of local stores and options for food. We visited Linn's for dinner and it was wonderful. The next morning we came back to the Main St to Lilly's for breakfast and found it to be very good as well. I would recommend this town to anyone who wants a laid back vibe, peace along the ocean, and friendly locals. It is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the larger cities.

Great place to base yourself for visits to nearby attractions like Hearst Castle, Elephant Seals etc in a cute town with great restaurants and bars. Moonstone beach Boardwalk is a lovely stroll the position yourself at a bar with a view for the sunset. Lovely.

Beautiful and relaxing property with minor room quirks
I didn't give it a perfect rating because of a couple of minor issues, but overall, this hotel is very nice. The rooms are incredibly spacious, featuring large layouts and a lovely extra table by the window that was perfect for relaxing. I really appreciated being able to open the window for fresh air and views of the beautiful green trees. The wood floors were a great touch, and everything felt exceptionally clean.
The property itself is quite large, featuring beautiful gardens and multiple buildings situated in a quiet yet highly convenient area.
The only reasons I didn't give it a perfect 10 were:
The shower water pressure was a bit too weak.
There was a sudden humming noise in the middle of the night, and we weren't entirely sure of the source (possibly the AC, even though it wasn't turned on).

We have been coming to Cambria for years.
We have been coming to Cambria for years. Love everything about it. The food, the quaint shops, the beautiful beach and serenity . The Sea Chest and Moonstar Bar &Grill is a must! You need to arrive at the Sea Chest at least an hour before opening. Take a chair and a bottle of wine and get line! Well worth the wait.

The place feels like a high end hotel. I assume recently refurbished. I have stayed in 5-star hotels in plush parts of London at 3x the cost which were not as nice. Comfiest bed I’ve slept in for a while. The finish is chilled and minimal and calming. The reception was clean and smelled good. The pool was perfect to get some energy out of the kids. Truly a lovely stay and I’d return in a heartbeat.

The property is right by Moonstone beach and every room has a side view of the sea. Rooms are large with comfortable bed Tea and coffee machine, ample parking and a choice of tacos or yogurt and fruit breakfast is delivered to your door. There is a good restaurant a couple of minutes walk from the Inn and another place for wine tasting. 10 minute drive to Hearst Castle.

A great location at the end of Highway 1. Perfect for the end of a road trip down the Big Sur. Lovely spacious rooms. Nice decor. Very friendly staff. Great location to walk into Cambria within a few minutes for local shops, restaurants and coffee shops.
