Casper has alway held a warm spot in my heart. It was always a half way back home to Crawfofrd Neb.
And in highschool we had track meets there, yes IT was a long time ago but you dont foget how the wind hits you on the coner headed home. As a child it was the first big city. And the first tv station i watched in Jeffrey City. Yes CASPER YOU ROCK. its going to be great when the hwy work all done. ROLL ON CASPER ROLL ON

Small city, but a beautiful small downtown... Easy to navigate & Free Parking downtown. Loved the Yak & Buffalo Burgers downtown across from Souvenir Shop. Casper would be a great town to raise kids......

I have been visiting family in Casper since I was a little...
I have been visiting family in Casper since I was a little girl. This hotel was very centrally located for visiting the family and places we had on our"to do" list. Casper is large enough to offer just about everything, but small enough that the traffic does not drive you crazy. Easy to navigate and go anywhere you wanted to go.

Casper has nice stores to shop at and the downtown restaurants were good. The area is a bit windy. The business area is clean but finding parking was somewhat challenging but that might have been because it was graduation weekend.

I grew up here and needed to cover family business and visit family & friends. We lucked out with decent weather (always windy). We went to the visitor bureau and grabbed info for our booking.com rental house. Casper is improving steadily. Google maps worked well to get us around. We ate at the Chinese/Hibache buffet and it was good. Love the Hat Six travel center!!! Got memorabilia at the Wyoming shop on corner of 2nd and Center streets!

The rooms at AmericInn are spacious, equipped with all the things you need (coffee maker, fridge, etc.), and everything has a fairly new feel to it. The hotel itself is located in an area with many other hotels and restaurants nearby, yet it is still close to downtown Casper. We can definitely recommend the hotel to families.

Great hotel! Room was huge with a kitchen, and was well equipped, quiet and very comfortable. Everything seemed designed with guest convenience in mind. We were particularly impressed with the breakfast: lots of high quality items to choose from. The crustless spinach and swiss cheese quiches were incredible!

This hotel is on the outskirts (east side) in a new area. It was very quiet and felt very safe. The front desk attendants were friendly and made recommendations for nearby restaurants. We followed their recommendation and had a great experience at a restaurant nearby.

We were only staying in Casper to break up our journey to Yellowstone. The hotel was in a convenient location for us with a couple of choices of restaurants a very short walk. The breakfast was very good, the rooms were clean and comfortable.
