Restaurants in Cedar are great. All American Diner is the best for breakfast and the Centro Pizza Place had the most delicious pizzas. It has a college town vibe and there seems to be lots of sites to explore for everyone.

We have attended the Shakespeare Festival for literally decades. We have seen Cedar City grow, but still maintain its charm .The surrounding areas (Cedar Breaks, Zion, Brianhead, et al) makes Cedar City an excellent central point. The climate can be iffy, so pack rain gear and sandals in the summer. Prepare for winter weather, both personal and travel related. The altitude can be a challenge for the first couple of days. Lots of history for a small town. Check out Alfredo's Italian restaurant. The roads are pretty much a grid, unless you are in the newer subdivisions.

Cedar City was halfway between Denver and LA.
Cedar City was halfway between Denver and LA. This apartment was clean, comfortably furnished, had a fully equipped kitchen, and was right next to a small city park which allowed us to easily take our morning ritual walk before getting back on the road.

We have been visiting Cedar City for the past 8 years while...
We have been visiting Cedar City for the past 8 years while our kids were attending Southern Utah University. We love the city and surrounding areas. There is so much to do, but in a small town. Views are beyond beautiful, and all the people are so kind. We will continue to visit, and possibly retire there.

This was my second trip to Cedar City visiting family.
This was my second trip to Cedar City visiting family. It's a cute but very small town. "Downtown" area is essentially a couple blocks on "Main Street." Have had a couple of decent meals here (Centro Woodfired Pizzeria, The Pub Spirits), but also a couple of bad meals (iHop, Jimmy John's). Fair amount of ongoing construction / refurbishment, which is a potential positive omen for the city, but detracted from my immediate experience. If it weren't for local family, I'd never return.

When we go to Brian head,we always stay this hotel.
There is very quiet and we love outside fire to make smore!!
we love swing & inside fire place& alot of table &chairs at dinnig area.
There are many board game,too.
so every time we go, we enjoyed family game time!!
inside room, it's very clean& l like kitchen area.
we bring instant pot or electric pan to cook.
This time They got outside jacuzzi!!
(we should brought swim suits)
my husband enjoyed it after skiing!!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The beds were very comfortable, the room was quiet, and everything felt clean and cozy. The pool and jacuzzi were great for relaxing after a long day, and the breakfast was generous with lots of delicious options — definitely one of the better hotel breakfasts we’ve had.
A really pleasant stay with great amenities and friendly atmosphere — we’d gladly stay again once the renovations are complete.

It used to be my favorite place to stay in cedar city, when we'd come stay in town to do jobs or to just get away from where we live for a while. It was the best value for the money, staff used to be friendly and recognize us, and we had a good relationship with them, but now they act like they don't know us anymore and ask for our room # and proof of room key every time we walk inside from outside,which they never used to do.

The staff at our breakfast was most helpful, kind and courteous - we normally leave a small tip for housekeeping staff, but this time we sought out the breakfast lady staff for her exemplary service............thank you!

It was easy to access from the highway, and the surrounding area was clean and safe. It was especially convenient because there were restaurants and a market right nearby. The hotel facilities were clean, and the simple breakfast was good.
