Good location, new facilities with nice clean rooms. Pretty standard hotel breakfast, no complaints. I did really like the restaurant by the river with lots of outdoor seating and the walking path into downtown Chattanooga. Very good for a large group.

    Not really much to see unless you’re paying to see the falls which guided tours just don’t work well with little kids. The aquarium is expensive. The downtown area where the Waterwalk way is, is not clean & I wouldn’t reckon kids swimming in it like the pictures show. The zoo was also very underwhelming.

    Visiting son who lives in Signal Mtn.Favorite spot was E 8th and Georgia ave.Old Stone church tower and the Dome building looked like something out of old classic european towns.I was told Patten pkway and Miller park area was recently renovated from industrial area to a newer downtown.Favorite Asian food was 'Attack of Tatsu"with good casual atmosphere and wonderful waitresses.Best barbecue was "Chatt Smokehouse"on E. MLK.Winner of best biscuits and gravy was "Ruby Sushine"although coffee was lukewarm and weak.Fonda Dosmil on Broad st was good with Mad Priest coffee next door to go with the food.Spent one day east of town in Reliance Tn. to fly fish Hiwasse river.

    We went to Ruby falls and rock city. Plenty of walking great exercise we walked around down town. We took the southern belle. Sunset cruise they have a live band on top deck. It was a great weekend getaway food places we enjoyed pizza bros. Great pizza very affordable. We had dinner. At tremont tavern. The burgers are to die for. We had ice cream at the. Ice cream show that was a cool experience. Highly recommend going to chattanooga

    The hotel was modern (like new condition) and very clean. The room was picturesque, with an awesome shower with Dove shampoo, conditioner and soap products.The streets around the hotel can be busy to drive. But the hotel sits way back from the street and is quiet and safe.

    The Hotel Chalet was perfect for a concert at the Signal venue. Walked right across the street for it. The hotel offered great service with a walkable distance for food and entertainment. Just a ten-ish minute drive to downtown near the Tennessee Aquarium. Loved visiting as always

    Overall very nice.

    Overall very nice. Basic rooms and facilities but comfortable and quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean inside the room but lots of dog poop on grassy areas -- bring your own dog bags please, the hotel does not have them available in the needed areas. Also a bit dark outside, could use better lighting close to the buildings and walking areas. It was satisfactory but walking a dog alone at night it would be great to have more light.

    We absolutely loved the Read House! The staff were fabulous, the room was sumptuous and silent (we opted to upgrade), the bartender superb, and we loved the location. We'd never been to Chattanooga and intended to only stay a single night, but the Read House was so fantastic, we opted to stay an extra night. It was also great value given the level of luxury, space, and service.

    The hotel had just been renovated and our room was perfectly done. You can see they have spent a lot of money bringing this hotel up to a great standard, we had a dip in the pool and that was also great too. Good location, comfortable room, friendly staff and a nice breakfast selection. What more could you ask for.
