The Olympic and Paralympic museum was excellent. I would go again.
Cave of the Winds is a good intro to exploring caverns. The 45 minute tour was just right for our group aged 14 to 78.
Lots of good local restaurants both downtown and in Old Colorado City.

Colorado Springs anymore I do not give hands up to anymore...
Colorado Springs anymore I do not give hands up to anymore the crime has increased highly and the amount of deaths has become large to where it's scary and the drug use and over doses are unbelievable the city of Colorado Springs with what they call blues smoking of this pill has made the streets of people not inviting and I believe putting these people in jail and then to rehabs sober living houses is only answers in making money it's not helping people from young to old your courts are filed with this your police staff is busy with this instead of real crimes , smoking blues isn't a crime it's a shame and your city needs to have these high officials stop help bringing this money making and way of using this drug as some kind of population control . This drug is the devil and your city along with so many more needs to come together not with hate nor judgement but with love and understanding and fight back this horrible addiction that is causing death and zombie like people remember this just isn't the homeless this is happing with all walks of life. All of this is causing your city not to be some place I'd want to bring my family to on vacation in regardless of all the fun and beautiful things to do and see here not worth it not to bring my kids to too only lose them to drug use of smoking blues and uncaring police and hospital staff emt workers. You have asked what I thought of Colorado Springs and so this is my answer and will spread my thoughts .

Plenty to do in a beautiful setting.
Plenty to do in a beautiful setting. The mountains are spectacular. Good restaurants too. Traffic can be a beast but there are shortcuts if you know the area. I enjoy going to Air Force sporting events.

Too many things to name The Mining Museum was very interesting. Manitou Springs Cliff Dwellings were definitely worth the trip, within a few minutes of Colorado Springs. We went to a haunted house right before Halloween which was better than the ones I've been to in Denver. Cave of the Winds was interesting, but they have not kept the atmosphere they had several years back. It was much better then. I would still recommend it.

Great hotel, clean rooms with kitchenettes and very friendly, helpful staff. Reanna was super kind, both when I arrived and when I checked out. She was also there when I stayed at this location a month prior and was just as nice. Made a huge difference after a long drive. Highly recommend.
The cabin is nice and in a very green area of the camping, the camping is located close to the entrance of the Garden of the Gods NP but faraway from Colorado springs downtown. There is a swimming pool close to the cabin area and a nice restroom with big showers.
The environment is very good, sanitary and clean. But I checked in tonight, the air conditioner broke down, and the temperature was as high as 85 degrees Fahrenheit, which made me unable to sleep, and the hotel did not inform me in advance.
