Also full of history and the Texas experience of ranching to the explorative. Check out the Perot Museum, especially with kids. Dallas is a huge place but the driving is wild most fun i've had moving around a city. keep on your toes and study your maps ahead of time if you want to avoid having to double back on parts of the drive. Dallas was a wonderful surprise to me. What a fascinating city, full of positive surprises. There is a rich cultural life in this vibrant city, great night life as well, so much to do for adults and families with children, pets friendly, Nature is beautiful in the city and its surroundings. I went specifically for the Meyerson Symphony Hall which has some of the best acoustics in the world. I was able to attend two concerts and one of them had a chorus of 200 singers plus the youth orchestra doing a fanfare. The buffet before one concert was a real feast with deserts galore. The Dallas Art Museum is about one square block and four stories high. I began with Meso American on the 4th floor, African art on the 3rd and worked way through Asian and contemporary art in repeated visits. It’s really too much to encounter in just one visit.
