The room size is spacious and very well appointed. The hallways were wide and kept clean. The amenities are a rarity in this area and parking felt adequate. I especially enjoyed the smooth check in and checkout process as well as a fully stocked coffee bar at all times in the lobby.

I went to Danville to visit relatives, had a nice visit. The city itself is slow, not to much to do. I briefly went to the casino, which is a venue I occasionally visit as I travel. I was very turn off or disturbed at the stench of the smoke, both cigarette and weed. I constantly had to move from machine to machine, not a good thing. In that I am from Atlanta, Ga. Danville is a place that I will continue to visit family that reside there, however I don't know of anything else that I would say is exciting to do there.

Danville is my hometown and it was nice to come back to visit with friends and family. It was a great week. We ate at Tuscany Grill a couple of times. The food was excellent. We also ate at Danview, Rubens, Firehouse subs, and Captain Cooks. Each place was good. It is easy to get around Danville. They have revitalized the downtown area and it looks very nice.

Neighborhood sketchy, I had to walk past a drug deal in progress to get to my car in the lot.... Thery don't adhere to their quiet hours policy... They allowed guests who rented the room that has access to the rooftop deck to place large speakers in their open doorway and play very loud trap music. I called to complaian when my walls were shaking. I was told that they were given permisiion to play music until 9:00, Ridiculous!! The view from my room window was of a rusted heating duct...
Didn't feel safe walking alone outside this hotel at all.

Danville was a little depressing ---I used my GPS to try to find a restaurant--went to 3 different places listed on my recently updated GPS and they were all closed---ended up at a Burger King which was OK but not what I was looking for for lunch---town was awkward to navigate due to hills and river with odd shaped intersections.

This was a cute, small town. Nice to walk in. Really clean.
This was a cute, small town. Nice to walk in. Really clean. We ate at Me Burgers and Brews and loved it! There was also a fountain in front perfect for pictures! We stayed at an Air BNB loft apartment and the Bee Hotel and loved them both!

Being greeted with a smile like an old friend. The lady at the front desk was so very nice. The room was good. It was quiet. The indoor pool was excellent. Breakfast was typical but satisfying. Though more expensive than other one-night hotels we stayed in during this 10 day trip it was definitely worth it! Highly recommend Hampton Inn Danville VA!
Construction was going on. Also we had to find another Hotel b/c despite having reservations the property manager said they were full and the property is first come first serve.
