The shops are excellent and the bike path runs for miles and through Falmouth to Woods Hole. The beaches are pebble covered but beautiful and plenty of large stones to sit on to enjoy. Foliage through the town beautiful and back roads lovely. Plenty of local places to stop like lighthouse and state parks. Access to Marthas Vineyard easy using Steamship Authority with parking lots and shuttles in town. Falmouth is a lovely town on the Cape.
Falmouth is a lovely town on the Cape. The downtown is sweet with a wonderful bakery: Maison Villatte has incredible bread and desserts. We highly recommend Falmouth Tides.
We highly recommend Falmouth Tides. It was dog friendly, which was very important to us and it was very, very clean. Location is close to ferry to Martha’s Vineyard and close to many restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.Guest review byRoberta - Review score

There is a lot of traffic during peak season along the main drag. Finding a place to park can be a real challenge. There is usually a lot of activity taking place in the town square: booths, exhibits, various sales. If you are visiting during the summer, try to catch a performance by the College Light Opera Company at the Highfield Theatre, CLOC presents nine different musicals in nine weeks and the productions are outstanding.
