First breakfast was great! Room was quiet. All amenities in the room worked great! Very happy with staff. Friendly and helpful. Stayed 3 nights. Good location. Only last day was disappointing breakfast; things were not refilled when emptied. Long wait for eggs. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel.

Be sure to visit Micanopy, Cedar Key, and the Kanaphaha Botanical Gardens. Driving on the U of F Campus during school sessions is tough. Driving on campus during major athletic events is impossible!

The Best Western hotel I booked through your web site...

The Best Western hotel I booked through your web site cancelled my reservation unknown to me on the day I was scheduled to check in because I did not answer my phone at 8 am. I work a late 2nd shift and turn my phone off when I am sleeping. This left me with no hotel room, later at night, in an where hotels were sold out because of local events. I had to travel 45 miles out of my way to another town to get a room.

Searching for Peace

Searching for Peace While I was there in Gainesville, i had a chance to cruise through downtown and I was able to find anything and everything imaginable. I was able to finding all sorts of things, also everywhere i went i had a very nice time.

I liked Paynes Prairie visitor center and trails. I wish I had taken a trip to the historic town of Micanopy. Unfortunately, the Museum of Natural History with butterfly exhibit is closed for renovation until 2026.

The entire stay was amazing. The Floorplan on booking doesn't do the actual unit justice. The rooms are spacious. The bathroom is awesome, especially the tubs. The whole unit is amazing. I'd definitely live here. They even set up the sofa bed for me when I asked. I'd definitely book here again. And the area was nice and quiet. Close to the University of Florida. Everything was on point. No complaints from me.
