It was very cozy and secluded from all the distractions and noises of city living. You could sit out on the back covered porch on the porch swing and hear nothing but silence and the water running through the creek extremely peaceful, tranquil really. I would absolutely live here if I could lol.

I was visiting the crystal mines of the Mt.

I was visiting the crystal mines of the Mt. Ida area, and Glenwood is less than 30 minutes away. Glenwood is a much larger town than Mt. Ida, so it has more amenities -- several good restaurants, motels, grocery stores, etc., etc. I was really glad I stayed there and the Riverwood Inn was great! I recommend eating at the Fish House.

Bad time of the year and the only other motel that was open...

Bad time of the year and the only other motel that was open did not have any vacancy so I had to stay 17 miles away to find a place to stay and commute to get my business in Glenwood accomplished. Glenwood seems like a nice small town but I would AVOID at all cost staying at the OUACHITA MOUNTAIN INN...ESPECIALLY UNDER ITS CURRENT MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL....WORST I've ever encountered!

We went crystal mining at Wegner's this place was about 20 mins away and we perfect. If you stay at this motel you get a discount at the restaurant next door!! Service and food there was amazing. Also an amazing little Italian restaurant across the street. Food and service was amazing there also

Booked hotel, around the September 7, NOBODY ADvised me that the Pool was Not Working & Closed down! I would not have stayed there if I had known, Owners Said it had been closed since Labor Day. Booking. com, Solicited in accurate information about what was available at hotel! Shane on you actually “Fuck You” and the Horse you Rode in on.” Robert H. I paid for a Hotel with a pool , That was Not Available. You guys are a “Bunch of Fucking Liars”. Don’t think I been booking with you all anymore!

I checked into the hotel and got my key. I drove around to my room and there was a grown man walking around in his underwear outside with women standing outside. Then I got to the room opened the door and bugs was dead on the floor and the room was so hot when I opened the door it took my breath away. I didn’t even go into the room. I closed the door and went back down stairs, checked out and left. I wasted 100.00 but it was better than taking home bugs. I DO NOT recommend this hotel.

From the moment I walked up the owners were so kind and friendly. They were both just joyful and really went that extra mile to make me feel valued and comfortable. My room was wonderful, the lady there took the time to show me to my room and then set up the TV to a station that I liked. I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel and the delightful owners who run it.

There were more than a dozen flies buzzing around the room when we entered. The facilities are in poor shape and remodeling would be needed before I could be convinced to return. I am used to hotel rooms with a Kleenex box or at least an extra roll of toilet paper, but that was not the case here. Breakfast is not provided.

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We thought that it was an excellent value. The location was ideal for us as we were visiting Glenwood for a specific activity which took place nearby.
