The hotel is immaculate and beautifully designed. Everything from the lighting, to the decorative pillows, to the included earplugs and multiple options for the keurig. The virtual concierge was attentive and gave easy to follow directions for check-in and the digital key. The beds were very comfortable, all the little amenities made the experience feel extra posh and truly boutique. We enjoyed learning about the history of the building and walking around Grand Junction's cute downtown with lots of great food options.

The staff was exceptional. Lydon was extremely professional, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. He IS the reason I will be using your services again. (planning to move there) I also appreciated a smoking area near the front entrance and out of the elements. You just don't see that anymore. I realize that habit isn't acceptable these days with a lot of folk. As a "soon to be" non-smoker, it made me feel respected.

This was a wonderful hotel with an exceptional breakfast program. One of the best we've had on our trip and highly recommended. Most hotels have basics, however, the Grand Junction had regular plates and glasses as well as real silverware. The food was great!

Visiting the Colorado National Monument is special.

Visiting the Colorado National Monument is special. You can go east and drive on or over Grand Mesa (Big Table in English) to see mountain pines, quaken aspens, and a number fo very nice alpine lakes. There is also a mild hike there called the "Craig Crest Trail." If you are really adventureous Go to Gateway to the south east deep in the canyons of granite and later red sandstone. Downtown Main Street is unique and fun shops. Boreddum is not an option.

I travel to Grand Junction and Fruita multiple times a year...

I travel to Grand Junction and Fruita multiple times a year to mountain bike and visit friends. I find GJ very easy to navigate by car and there are plenty of good restaurants and breweries to check out. The mountain biking at the Lunch Loops are filled with variety and of course 18 Road and the Kokopelli trailhead trails are a blast! And for the road bike enthusiasts there is a very well thought out series of paved bike paths that run throughout GJ and one that connects to Fruita and goes all the way out to the Kokopelli trailhead parking area. And for hiking travelers there are beautiful hikes in Colorado National monument as well as Lunch Loops and some great hikes in and around Palisade. Then, there's also wineries all over Palisade for people who like a little fermented grape action. Lastly, for the river rats, there's the Colorado River that flows right through GJ and floating the Ruby Horsethief section for a couple of days is sublime.

Grand Junction has a lovely area downtown.

Grand Junction has a lovely area downtown. Mix that with hiking trails close by. There are great parks for children, great activities for eveyone as well. Grand Junction's weather all year round makes it possible to enjoy the outdoors while visiting.

Lots of good restaurants in the Grand Junction area, good...

Lots of good restaurants in the Grand Junction area, good book stores, and a sweet gift shop called Rebel Treasures with unique items and a very nice owner right next to the Goat and Clover Tavern. ebiking was great--paved paths right off Las Colonias park area. Gmaps said it was closed Labor Day but we didn't find any closures. Palisade is nearby, where we rode in the streets, picked our own peaches, tasted some wine. Always love stopping at Restoration Vineyards for wine, fun, and food. We hit a few ice cream spots, Third Bowl Homemade Ice cream has some unique flavors and really friendly personnel. Graff Dairy is fun. Palisade had The Milky Way, really friendly and very good gelato. The Pie Shop in Palisade has marvelous pies, hand pies, full size pies, etc.--so many choices and changing all the time. The Grand Mesa is nearby, a nice drive through the forest with a lot of lakes. Overall, Grand Junction/Palisade area has a lot of things to do for the young and older (we're older) generations.
