Hagerstown is at a crossroads in Maryland, so it has plenty of places to eat and shop near the interstates. The downtown has potential, but there are not too many places to grab a drink or shop, however the Maryland Theater is outstanding. The Hagerstown City Park is also a highlight. We visited to attend the Flying Boxcars baseball games with friends. The Meritus Park stadium is brand new and AWESOME--every amenity, even the bathrooms, was considered for the comfort and enjoyment of the fans! And the availability of great restaurants, bars, and shopping in and around the downtown was fantastic. The pool was closed.
The pool was closed. There was construction right outside our window and was woke up at 7:00am. Didn't oder us a different room. Safe was broke. Front desk didn't know how to fix it. We went to a military swap meet at the airbase and only stayed one night at the hotel. We would have liked to stay atleast 2 to 3 nights but had another engagement. The swap meet was great, my husband restores military HMMWV'S so we were on a mission to get parts. It would have been nice to wander around more, next time!Guest review byAnonymous - Review score
