National Park is small and manageable to explore, natural spring water is fun to try, restaurants like Superior Bathhouse Brewery (great outdoor seating), Rolando’s (Mexican food and eating at the base of a mountain) the Colonnial and Pancake Shop for breakfasts were lovely, the bathhouses are very cool and should be fully explored, great walk along the Grand Promenade next to the downtown. There are loads of abandoned buildings which is unnerving and bizarre, don’t waste your time at the Ohio Club restaurant if you aren’t a local.Guest review byAnonymous - Review score

This was my first time visiting Hot Springs.
This was my first time visiting Hot Springs. It is a great place to visit if you plan to rest and just go out to eat or do light shopping. There was a couple of places to shop but not many stores in the mall. Downtown Washington nice to see the bathhouses but the hours to experience are short and parking on the street is usually occupied. We didn't take any pictures but if you're looking to experience the casino and races checkout Oaklawn Casino. We were surprised by the downtown, bath spas, architecture, shops, and restaurants. We were not impressed by stores that were overly political, but might return for a summer visit and stay a bit longer. There is no place in the world for us like Hot Springs. The local folks are friendly and inviting, even outside the scope of it being a tourist area. The air is clear, and the water is divine. The city is beyond welcoming from a couple that has traveled around the world. This is our first time to Hot springs Arkansas, and it did not disappoint. Every single person that we met there, every single local was so welcoming and willing to provide information. There are so many little hidden gems around the area you need to make sure. Dad, you spend the time and talk to the people that actually live there. I will not spill the secrets because it's up to you to figure out where they are. Make sure to check out" Will's bar", just ask around town where it's at and they will point you in the right direction.Guest review byCampbell
