United StatesThe host, Maxi, was super accommodating during our stay. She texted back quick, was happy to give us a little extra time to leave the next morning (we're late sleepers), and knows the area well! She recommended a good breakfast place and made the cabin really cozy for us. It's a quaint little place and has everything you might need for your stay.
Will definitely be coming back to stay another night here:)

Kadoka is a very small town that does not have a lot to offer as far as attractions. It was close to Badlands National Park( approx. 30 minutes to the entrance) and we did visit the distillery which was pretty good and very reasonable. There really is no place to eat so you will want to plan ahead. We ate in Wall. We also packed food. There is a moderate sized refrigerator. It was VERY hot so we really appreciated the air conditioning. Wish the pool was functioning. Comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights. Price was reasonable. Staff was friendly. Was nice to have TV and catch some news. Something we did not have the 10 days prior to heading through SD.Guest review bySharyl L.United States - Review score

There was nothing in Kadoka we stayed for except it is a very short drive to the entrance to The Badlands, which was our destination and we highly recommend. If you have kids (or not) you cannot miss a stop at the Prairie Dog Ranch. $1 for a bag of peanuts that you can handfeed adorable prairie dogs.Guest review byAmyUnited States
