Take a Chance in Sin City

Famed for its glamorous casinos, celebrity visitors and endless streams of entertainment, Las Vegas buzzes with activity 24/7. Located in the heart of the Nevada desert, this city is called the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason.

You can stroll down Fremont Street in old Las Vegas like a member of the Rat Pack or act like a modern high-roller at Caesar’s Palace. Prepare for a long night as the neon lights of clubs and casinos will tempt you to sink into the world of gambling and music.

Las Vegas is renowned of its fine dining, great shopping and live performances of famous artists and comedians. Right from the moment you leave McCarran International Airport you can try your luck at a slot machine, but you might want to wait until you get to the Las Vegas strip and the dozens of larger than life casinos.

When you’re ready for a break from the bustle of the city, visit the nearby Hoover Dam with the largest man-made lake, Lake Mead. The Paiute Indian Reservation in Vegas’ downtown area offers something a bit more spiritual.

Whichever type of accommodation you choose, whether a skyscraper hotel or a design city apartment, you’ll never run out of fantastic activities in Sin City. Booking.com has the perfect place to stay for your Vegas vacation.

Kenny Chesney concert at The Sphere was amazing!

Kenny Chesney concert at The Sphere was amazing! It was hot..over 100 degrees but ok. The smash burger at Pub 365 as well as the friendly staff and patrons made the evening very pleasant and enjoyable. We bought the bus pass but the buses weren’t stopping at the station as their app indicated they would. Uber and cabs were great! Ole Red was a good venue for live country music.

Vegas isn't for everyone but everyone can find something to...

Vegas isn't for everyone but everyone can find something to pique their interests in and around the city. Please don't base your decision solely on family, friends, or social media when it comes to visiting Vegas or not. We all see life through our own lens, filters, experiences, and often trauma informed responses. LV seems to evoke strong responses either positive or negative in terms of experiences. Life takes place in the middle. I.E. For me gambling isn't for me but there are so many other activities from local cafes (Vesta Coffee!) and stores, hiking at Red Rocks or Mt. Charleston, neon sign museum, and walking the Arts district. Some may want to see a concert while others will play golf. Hoover Dam and Death Valley are both close for those who want to take a chance on different adventures. People watching on the strip or sipping a pint at a local brewery while seeing a game can be just as pleasurable as those who try to parlay their way to wealth. Add in the NHL, NFL, Running Rebs, and soon MLB for those into sports and there will be even more options for those visiting Clark County. Don't let others determine whether or not you will like Vegas or worse, set your itinerary based on the latest social media feed or what others expect you to do while walking the strip and maybe you prefer Fremont St. That's okay!

Vegas is Vegas.

Vegas is Vegas. We were driving out so we had 2 nights at the start/end. The Strip is tacky but we knew it would be. We loved the Bellagio as a base. The rest of the experience was average. I might go back for the F1 or a show. The minimum bet of $25 was slightly off-putting as it means if you have a bad run, your cash goes too fast. Not as crazily expensive as I thought it would be.
