Located at the beginning of the Fremont Street Experience, Plaza Hotel & Casino offers a variety of restaurants and a casino with Keno, slots, table games and a sports book.

The room in the south tower was great, not much sound from Fremont was heard. Also nive views of the pool area, Circa and the rest. The restroom was clean and well separated for usage for 2 people.

Conveniently located on the Strip at Boulevard South, just 4 blocks north of the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino, Thunderbird Boutique Hotel offers a bar, restaurant and a wedding chapel onsite.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise for the price. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and polite. It's a practical option if you're passing through or need a simple place to stay. Plenty of parking was available, which was a big plus. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done.

Take a Chance in Sin City

Famed for its glamorous casinos, celebrity visitors and endless streams of entertainment, Las Vegas buzzes with activity 24/7. Located in the heart of the Nevada desert, this city is called the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason.

You can stroll down Fremont Street in old Las Vegas like a member of the Rat Pack or act like a modern high-roller at Caesar’s Palace. Prepare for a long night as the neon lights of clubs and casinos will tempt you to sink into the world of gambling and music.

Las Vegas is renowned of its fine dining, great shopping and live performances of famous artists and comedians. Right from the moment you leave McCarran International Airport you can try your luck at a slot machine, but you might want to wait until you get to the Las Vegas strip and the dozens of larger than life casinos.

When you’re ready for a break from the bustle of the city, visit the nearby Hoover Dam with the largest man-made lake, Lake Mead. The Paiute Indian Reservation in Vegas’ downtown area offers something a bit more spiritual.

Whichever type of accommodation you choose, whether a skyscraper hotel or a design city apartment, you’ll never run out of fantastic activities in Sin City. Booking.com has the perfect place to stay for your Vegas vacation.

The hotels on the strip are great. Be careful not to choose one that is too old. It is great to see a show when you are there. I ate at Flemings on Charleston and Yard House at the Red Rock. I saw Shin Lim at the Palazzo. Great show!

Vegas is for the young and agile, much less so for the older and mobility challenged. We brought a rented scooter that stopped working on the second morning. Lesson learned. However, the wedding we attended was a wonderful event. Nelson Ghost Town was a terrific outdoor venue for the ceremony, Rosa Mexicano had a great meal for about 40 people afterwards that included dancing to the music we provided. We also enjoyed a Sunday Brunch on Mother’s Day and delicious dinner at Lotus of Siam at Red Rock Casino.

One of the places you'll either love, or hate.

One of the places you'll either love, or hate. We went with an open mind, came away with big smiles on our faces!! Its a crazy place, never experinced anything so in your face 24 hours a day. We aren't gamblers, so that didn't interest us one bit, but for something completley different, this is the place. We went to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam whilst there, great day out, plus if you like rollecoasters, go on the New York New York one, brilliant! Fremont Street is a must also, plus the fountains at The Bellagio We went for four days, that was enough for us, we wouldn't go again, but we are both glad we've been... still smiling... :) By the way we're both pensioners from the UK....

We hated Las Vegas. Loud, dirty, crowded. Roads were a mess. We do not plan on coming back. Would fly into another city instead. Mostly just used it to fly in and out of while visiting the parks in Utah.
