Ana received us and she took care of our check-in, we're so glad that she was there to help us in our trip to NOLA. She shared with us a lot of tips about the city, and helped us to feel 'like a local'. Thank you Ana! Breakfast and location was just perfect! We stayed for a week, and every morning the breakfast was full of alternatives. The room is perfect, not noises around, everything perfectly clean.

The coffee was amazing and the breakfast was hot and convenient. It's not award winning but good enough to tide you over. The location was perfect just two blocks off Frenchman and a 10 min walk to Cafe du Monde. The hotel is brand new despite what you see on google maps street view. The staff were super friendly. You have to remember New Orleans is part of the south so no one is in a big rush. You should slow down too and enjoy. It was quiet and we slept like babies with the super comfortable bed and pillows.

Excellent hotel. Everything we needed - couldn't ask for anything more. Great location: close enough to French Quarter (walking distance), quick access to public transport (street cars), but far enough from the noise. Fantastic views of the river. Very comfortable and spacious rooms; great bedding and amenities. Check-out only at 12pm.

FAQs about hotels in New Orleans

Getting its Rhythm Back

The home of jazz, intriguing New Orleans evokes images of Louis Armstrong, wrought-iron balconies and mouth-watering Cajun cuisine. Louisiana’s largest city, the Big Easy is the beating heart of the Deep South.

Dance down Bourbon Street, where jazz saxophones ring out of traditional bars mixed with more colorful nightlife and entertainment venues. There are several New Orleans hotels near Bourbon Street, spread around the French Quarter with its distinctive Creole architecture.

To the south is Jackson Square, dominated by St. Louis Cathedral. Horses and carts wait patiently by the square, and locals set up their stools and start playing catchy tunes. Just behind is the legendary Mississippi River whose waters are still plied by paddle steamers.

From the river you get great views of the CBD (downtown) skyscrapers and the Louisiana Superdome. Booking.com has several hotels nearby, including some on Canal Street, where streetcars and the famous New Orleans Mardi Gras carnival pass down.

In the northern suburbs is New Orleans City Park, one of the oldest US parks and larger than NYC’s Central Park. Waterways lining it flow into large Lake Pontchartrain bordered by a bayou.

The street life on Bourbon Street is unique and interesting.

The street life on Bourbon Street is unique and interesting. Many fun restaurants and souvenir shops as well. The open market is fun to shop at and the paddle boat ride is a good experience. There are also several interesting museums in the area. The downside is that Canal street can be very noisy with locals driving up and down the street blasting music very loud to get attention. Also witnessed several drunks and men urinating on the street more than once. Must watch where you walk. Interesting place to visit, but no need to do it more than once or twice.

The people, food and location was perfect. If you are not up to walking it may be a inconvenience, but New Orleans is all about site seeing. You have other options of getting around- buggy, taxi, or uber.

I love that there's a garage for your vehicle. I didn't like that there was only one dryer throughout the entire hotel. But, overall the customer service was great throughout the entire hotel. I really enjoyed the Natchez Trace Steam Boat ride. And if you love seafood, Fiery Crab is really good.

Lots of interesting things to do and the restaura is were super. Gusto chicken was very good and our waitress was super. The Ww2 memorial was really informative and worth every penny. Riverwalk mall and the park were great. The walking ghost tour was enlightening. And jamnola was kind of short and cheesy.

The French Quarter has beautiful architecture and history,...

The French Quarter has beautiful architecture and history, but it did not meet our expectations. We found strong odors of urine and sewage in many areas, marijuana smell throughout the day, many homeless people, and adult-oriented nightlife. It wasn’t the family-friendly atmosphere we were expecting.

Awesome stay. Jim was always available and helpful with any questions. The employees were nice and friendly as well. The place was different and special. Public transport close by in all directions. Around 30min walk into the French quarter. I felt super safe in the neighborhood, also to walk around in the evening. I liked it so much that I wanted to extend my stay unfortunately it was fully booked. I would always come back if I am coming back to New Orleans.

Very close to the museums and a 20min walk to the French Quarter. Nice furniture, washing facilities, well equipped kitchen. Safe area, perfectly situated to visit New Orleans. I wish, we could have stayed longer! We highly recommend the little restaurant Mais on the corner of the same block —- good food, delicious cocktails and very nice staff.

Quiet hotel in the heart of French Quarters, ideal when exploring New Orleans as you can pop home any time. Air con was working very well, bathroom was also well maintained, bed comfy. We arrived a few hours early, and they were happy to store our luggage, and then check-in an hour earlier. Would definitely book again if I return to New Orleans.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was large, comfortable and well equipped with coffee machine, fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Location was excellent on canal street with a tram stop directly outside and about a 10 min walk to the French quarter. Would recommend and if returning to New Orleans I would book the hotel again.
