Clean city exuding decent vibes from the middle and/or upper economic strata.
The stay at the Hyatt Regency felt like an exclusive "country club" experience. It's near an excellent Civic Center multi purpose hall and library that seemed top notch.
The Back Bay waters behind the Hyatt was teeming with fish that were jumping out of the water as if frolicking with the festive celebrations on the beach.

I'm not a world traveler by any means but it's a wonderful escape from any busy life and although dinning and entertainment can be a bit pricey I'd say for a short visit to reset your mental and possibly even physical health it would be most worth it!

I have always enjoyed coming here to fish and eat.
I have always enjoyed coming here to fish and eat. We took family pictures here one year. Great place to hang out and highly recommend the deap sea fishing out of Newport Landing. It's a little pricey but you can always find a Groupon.

Do not miss out on eating a meal at Tommy Bahamas restaurant on Pacific Coast Highway. Get your hair styled at the Strand London on Pacific Coast Highway and Corona Del Mar on the corner of Marguerite next to the Bank. Shop at the Irvine spectrum and have dinner there at capital dim sum. There is a fabulous huge Ferris wheel at the spectrum kids would love it. Take a whale watching tour on boat at Dana point Harbor.

I liked the cleanness of the city. The weather was good. A lot of things to do malls complex's with other things you can do. I believe I saw a movie theater, It's just so much to remember, but the get away is worth your stay. Remember, If you don't like walking try public transportation or rental car. All in all I walked plenty of miles, and saw so must. Airport is in the area John Wayne. And his stature looks just like him. Really it does. So much to see. My favorite spot was the airport, because it was clean and the employees look good in their uniforms. Might not sound important , but it is. Look good feel good. Getting around is not that bad, remember to make sure your direction are correct, text and map helps. Come prepared to have a good time. Here on work, next time with family and kids. Other then that very nice place to see.

The beach was great.
The beach was great. The surfers were there early doing their thing. The kids could get in the water and use the boogie boards. They had a good time. We had a nice bbq and enjoyed the patio. The house was nice. We would avoid that house because its party city for the local teens. The beach does not close for them. They holler and make noise until 3:00am or later.

Good location within a short drive of the main Newport Beach peninsular. The free Newport beach weekend trolley stops out the back of the hotel so we used that over the weekend. Plenty of parking at the hotel and reasonable price. Staff were really friendly and the reception area was bright and airy. Good price for the location especially if like us we were only in the room to sleep and shower as so much to do out and about.

I arrived before check-in time and waited in the hotel lobby. Since I don’t speak English well, I was a little worried, but the staff were very kind and let me into my room earlier than expected. Their service was excellent, and I did not feel uncomfortable at all. I really appreciated their help and kindness.
