The jacuzzi didn't work and was cold. The air in the room didn't work. Very old and run down.

This California hotel is located just 1.5 miles from Oceanside Pier and 1 mile from Camp Pendleton’s main gate. It offers an on-site gym and rooms with a microwave and fridge.

Clean. Basic but nice. Elevator Is in good condition. Parking lot and surroundings feel safe. My stay was quiet and an eventful and I felt that the room was very clean and comfortable.

I really wanted to give kudos to the quality of the towels. Fluffy enough, white enough, plus there seemed to be some kind of stretchy material in them so when wrapping them around ourselves, they stretched and wrapped every time.

Good price, good location, friendly staff. All areas of hotel were clean. Quiet and relaxing. Besides having to make our own waffles, and hair on the toilet seat in my room, I am satisfied with my experience.

We loved how easy check-in was, the free parking right next to your room, free WiFi, the hot tub, free bicycles, private patio, walking distance to restaurants and bars, comfortable bed and plenty of quality towels, pillows, etc. Our room was a small suite and came with everything we needed.

    There's no breakfast and there's a mean front desk girl who is in her late teens early twenties and probably isn't heir to this hotel but she was so rude and treated me as if I was some sort of freeloader. She took my deposit because I was smoking outside however no one told me that I could not smoke outside knowing explains me that there was a designated smoke right now she just told me it was in the fine print. She had the worst customer service I've ever come across 150 she's still for me

    Oceanside is lovely and very enjoyable to visit.

    Oceanside is lovely and very enjoyable to visit. The harbor shops and restaurants are great but close on the earlier side. The beach is very clean and everyone is friendly. It never feels overcrowded either.

    Online if you book a room you don't get a senior discount rooms are a little pricey ice machine and vending machines in laundry room closes too soon but other than that love to stay here staff is great rooms are great. Would like to know how to get a one free night cuz I have paid hundreds of dollars

    Loved the availability of restaurants, Japanese, Thai, Pizza, Wings, Italian, Seafood, so much to pick from. The view from the tier was absolutely gorgeous. I would most definitely want to visit when a little warmer. This year 2025 was a bit cool, but did not discourage walking or sitting outside enjoying the view.

    Oceanside is a cute little beach town with less crowds and traffic than other areas nearby. It is easy to visit Carlsbad which is right next door. There is Mission San Luis Rey which is filled with historical facts.The marina area has lazy seals to photograph.

    Oceanside itself was ok....completely getting run down by the ammount of homelessness and drugs and drug addicts on the streets. Very sad considering I've lived in Southern California my whole life pretty much, finally had to move out of state.

    Breakfast was a little lacking in variety, waffle making machine was fun, sausages were awful, need better fruit options. We had a queen twin room, great size, pillows could be better. Location is as fabulous as we needed to be close to Camp Pendleton base, was close to Oceanside harbour which was a nice play to visit and eat out. Petrol station next door and parking onsite at hotel. The staff couldn’t do more for us. Would stay again.

    Absolutely loved our room location. We were right on the strand and they had cute little chair out front of our room where we ate breakfasts and had drinks at sunset. The space was beautiful with nice finishing me and a great bathroom. The bedroom was pretty small in regards to where our luggage fit but the bed was the best bed we slept in all week- made it hard to get up!

    Incredibly clean. Owners were very responsive. The moment you stepped into the room, it just felt like the world dropped off your shoulders. The room has everything you need, the provision of bikes and surfboards to use was great and it proved to be the perfect base for our Oceanside stay.
