I have been to Ogunquit several times before.

I have been to Ogunquit several times before. It’s convenient. It’s walkable. We also went up to Kennebunkport, which is only 20 minutes up the road. Unfortunately, due to the weather we did not walk the marginal way which is something I love doing.

In Ogunquit there was everything we needed within walking distance. The beautiful 3 mile beach, the cliff walk, a shopping area at the end of the cliff walk and an array of restaurants and shops. We were delighted to have chosen to stay and then be able to add another night to enjoy the unseasonable mid-October summer-like days. There were fall festival events and decorations to see, or do, and it was a wonderful happinstance that we ended up visiting, and look forward to going again

Quaint towns string along Rt 1.

Quaint towns string along Rt 1. We could have stayed a full week and had plenty to do. Tons of shops and restaurants. Great getaway. The only frustration was traffic on Rt 1, but when we wanted to save some time, we would use our phones to direct us on side street detours to get around traffic. That was fine. Over-all loved it. You’ve got to go to old estate farm on water. Gorgeous setting, educational, walking trails.

Very clean room and comfortable beds.

Very clean room and comfortable beds. The room also had a small refrigerator & coffee maker. The location was great and parking spacious. This hotel had a hot breakfast every day but mostly rolls, bread and yogurt. I don't eat much for breakfast and when I do I like to eat protein which this place did not have. The only other issue I had was when it rained there really wasn't much of an area to eat breakfast. The challenge was trying to balance bringing your paper plates and coffee back to your room.

We loved the location The grounds were beautiful.

We loved the location The grounds were beautiful. I'd like to find out who did all the beautiful planters. We will be back for sure. The complimentary bottle of champagne celebrating our 40th anniversary was over the top. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The coffee was fabulous overlooking the ocean from the terrace. The rooms were very clean. The beds were quite comfortable. Just my thoughts but it would have been fun to have music in a tiki hut setting as it felt very tropical with the gorgeous flowers. Love love the Terrace by the Sea.

Warm welcome, clean room and a really nice breakfast. Walking distance to some restaurants, there is a beach close but we preferred to drive Ogunquit beach as there are more facilities available.
