Staff was super friendly and the pool looked amazing, the kids were having a blast. Hot tubs were not working unfortunately. Location was great, a bit of a hike to the beach though.

We had never been there before, and were pleasantly surprised what a neat town and community Seabrook at Pacific Beach was. Seabrook is mostly all either brand new or recently built homes and facilities, so there is lots of construction going on etc. Seabrook itself only had three restaurants to choose from, and a bakery, several coffee shops. Would have hoped for me to support a community of that size, but that's just me. As mentioned, it's all brand new, so there's not a lot of rustic beach character as you might expect from a beach town, no "hole-in-the-wall dive bars" with pool tables, cute little seafood restaurants with clam chowder, etc. but there are places like that driving distance away from Seabrook. The beach itself is massive, seemingly endless, with very few other people, at least when we were there. Very relaxing, and the homes are all amazing. You have to like stairs though, as they are mostly three-level town-home style houses. The house we rented had an elevator built in, but it was turned off, however I am guess they would have enabled it if there were disabled or stair challenged people in our group.

    Nice beach, locals seemed friendly.

Nice beach, locals seemed friendly. Quiet, not crowds, preferred for me. Heading down trail incredible wide view of beach. Beautiful. Dog friendly. Even in the cold the walk is easy and really nice. Shells around and up by edges some incredible driftwood.

We have been to the Periwinkle for 15 years.

We have been to the Periwinkle for 15 years. We use to love it. It is for sale now and has run down furniture, cookware, and kitchen stove and cabinets. Vacasa who is managing was not at all helpful when we called.

If you want a low key and relaxing stay this is the place to be. There is not alot to do, but you have the beautiful beach with a very short walk to enjoy. Also check out the Surf House coffee shop and the You and I teriyaki restaurant . You won't be disappointed. Ocean Shores is also close by with about a 30 minute drive.

Pacific Beach was boring and had little invite.

Pacific Beach was boring and had little invite. SeaBrook; however was an unexpected surprise. It is a lovely small community with quaint little shops and very welcoming (if you can afford it). It was lovely but maybe a little too new and perfect and not too diverse with regards to shops and people.

The house itself was simply amazing!! Beautiful home, nicely appointed, amazingly close to the beach access and near downtown (walking distance) for proximity to restaurants and Seabrook rental office. The beach is massive. surrounded by scenic and mysterious looking wooded areas, and it honestly felt that we had the whole place to ourselves.

Quiet location, yet close to main attractions. Made a few meals in a well stocked kitchen and the nearby outdoor fireplace for making s'more's & toasting a celebration was wonderful. House was perfect size for two adults, two teens and a small dog.

We vacation at Pacific Beach often since we got married there in 2014, and family joins us when we can visit again. This vacation rental was comfortable with some exceptions, and suited us well. We'd consider bringing the whole family in the future.
