The whole house was modern and very clean. The beds were comfortable. Everything was well thought and arranged. It was equipped with everything we needed: washing machine, oven, microwave, big fridge. It has street parking. The host is very kind. Highly recommend!

The on-site management increases a sense of safety. It just so happened that there were 2 guest-related incidences that occurred during my stay, and the manager quickly and efficiently took care of both incidences. Great value! Very responsive to all my questions prior to arriving. Perfect size for our group of 6 adults. The view is fantastic! Every one of us enjoyed our stay and were impressed with the ease of booking, finding the home and condition of the home. The ad should also mention the very nice 2 level back yard! One of our group found a rake and really enjoyed the "zen garden" area. We will be back!

Pacifica was not our target for the trip - it was a last...

Pacifica was not our target for the trip - it was a last minute need for a hotel room and it was the nearest. It's a wild bit of coastline with big waves and rocks - so lively, perhaps not for swimming/putzing around. I personally love a wild coastline (I even have a PhD in wild coastlines, so not prejudiced against them at all). The town is fine. We had trouble finding anywhere to get caffeine after 6pm and ended up walking to the McDonald's way out the end of the town, which was not ideal, but at least we had the option and got some exercise. It is a good central spot to get around the peninsula.

Pacifica is not really a destination place but it's a fine...

Pacifica is not really a destination place but it's a fine little town, broken up into 3 different areas that really can only be reached by car. We were lucky enough to time it so that the weekly Farmer's Market was on while we were there. The walking trails from the beach were nice and not too difficult and we were able to walk up to the top of the hills. We were really bummed the local bowling alley had closed a few years earlier which we didn't realize until after wee began our stay.

I've been to many nice hotels. PBH was the best. It was the best 35 years ago. It is the best still, Although I could not afford to stay that time, I imagined what it is like to stay in that hotel. I finally realized my dream 35 years later.

Staff was very helpful.

Staff was very helpful. Online advance checkin made the in person part of the process quite fast. The location is great for my family visit. I have been getting upgrades to oceanview rooms (my 3rd stay here). There is an in room mini fridge and a coffee maker. There is a shared small microwave near the elevator. On my first visit, I fell in the shower because the floor was slippery and I never like the feel of the reusable rubber mats. Now there is a fixed anti-slip pad on the tub floor which is much more secure for showering. Although there are less expensive alternatives, I like the view, ample covered parking, and the ambiance here. Aside from the coffee maker, there is no included breakfast, which would be a welcome addition. There are some walkable coffee shops however.

Great beach town in Northern California... Easy access to pop into San Francisco for baseball or any event...Has a neat recreational cannabis shop... Nicks restaurant (a 96 year old tradition) is a great experience...

My son lives there, so I would have enjoyed my visit...

My son lives there, so I would have enjoyed my visit regardless. However, Pacifica is beautiful and quiet with some great restaurants, so I can confidently recommend it for travelers who aren't visiting family. It's also close enough to San Francisco to conveniently see most of the attractions there.

The location is very nice. Pacifica is always a great little town which we love to visit, a good number of times as a matter of fact, coming all the way from the Greek islands where we live. We had great expectations this time around and were looking forward to spend quality time at a rental house which faced the ocean and offered majestic views of the ocean.

The hotel is in a beautiful location and lady at front desk was nice. I would have stated decent value but we were overcharged with no explanation. TV did not work and they offered to change our room but we declined due to hassle of moving rooms.
