I would happily return to Portland to explore the city in greater depth and discover more of its attractions. The hotel's excellent location made it easy to see a lot and served as a perfect base for exploring both the city and the surrounding region.

This is a walkable city with so much to do.
This is a walkable city with so much to do. I bopped around to local bars and eateries. The people are so friendly and I am personally a fan of the weather.
I would not plan a big itinerary, but take a day-by-day and explore the city!

Portland is a wonderful city. I was born here.
Portland is a wonderful city. I was born here. So much to do, OMSI was a great day of science and history. Then we went down on the waterfront. We had great food from the area, and wished we had more time to hit up Oaks Amusement Park. Also want to do a cruise up the Columbia or even on the Willamette.

Portland is a small city but and easy to get around without using your car. Washington Squares Park has so many areas to explore, and walking along the river is beautiful. Summer weather perfect with mostly outside eating and so many food options—gourmet grocery stores and restaurants are great.

I found Portland to be very user friendly with public transportation. It is also very walkable. We enjoyed eating out, going to the art museum and to the zoo. I need to eat gluten free and my find me gluten free app had so many options in Portland. It was very easy for me to eat out and feel safe doing so.
On a side note, the Art Museum was totally worth the trip. I was fortunate to see the David Hockney exhibit. Loved it.

The location in Portland nicer area of the downtown. The welcome drink and hospitality of the reception made us change plans and stay another night. We loved the decor, the spacious room and bathroom, the fitness center and the service. He even recommended a nearby parking lot which is much cheaper than the hotel parking.

The hotel has a very central location with most downtown location being in walking distance for me. Self-Check-In/Out worked flawlessly, staff was excellent and luggage storage was also available. Breakfast was basic but one can not complain.

Super convenient location near the airport. Breakfast was the best we’ve had and we’ve booked some hotels over the past few months. Clean. Great bathrooms. Don’t let the gas station next door throw you off guard. Was a great place to stay.

I enjoyed the close proximity of the hotel to the heart of Portland's downtown, which allowed for some easy shopping and choices in dining. I also felt that the genial atmosphere of Hotel Lucia was second to none.
