CanadaEverything was perfect! Great location, comfortable beds, clean hotel. There are some renovations but nothing that ruins the experience. Our room was close to brand new. I would 100% stay here anytime I’m in the area. The front desk staff were lovely and beyond helpful. Highly recommend!

I grew up in the suburbs of Rochester. A lot has changed over the years. But it is still home.
I spent a day at Ontario Beach Park - it is still the wonderful place I remember. And Seneca Park Zoo keeps getting better!
There are many wonderful restaurants, so have fun exploring.

1- front desk asked for $100 for security , and I had paid for 2 rooms online already
2- elevator couldn’t stop on fifth floor ( my rooms numbers 514- 515
3- breakfast fast was very much gone by 7:45 am ,
Overcooked sausages , breakfast stage too small for the size of the Hotel
The cheapest hotel in Brazil can is much better 10 to zero
4- the elevator stinks
5- furnitures in the rooms it was covered with dust

We only went to Strong Memorial Hospital & also 2times to Jay's Diner food was very good & great prices. & very friendly & prompt service from waitresses & great variety of food to choose from. This Restaurant was a very good find like a diamond in Ruff we will be returning soon.

It is a very walkable city based on the area I was in.
It is a very walkable city based on the area I was in. Traffic was not to heavy compared to where I am from. The streets are a little confusing with the traffic pattern changes and the lines I the street not being very clear as some of them needed to be repainted but thats probably not an issue if you drive there often . The food we had, mostly take out and a hotel restaurant, was good. Overall it really seems like a lovely place.

I liked the downtown park and walkway along the riverfront, and enjoyed the little after-work food, wine and music event in the evening.
I spent the morning at the Museum of Play -- what a great concept and fun place to explore! It was great to see and remember the kinds of toys that were around when I was a kid.
Travel by Uber was really easy, but I can't comment on local transit, since I didn't have time to use it.
I'd like a chance to return and see more of Rochester -- there's a lot I'd like to explore and experience. FYI, I came to visit because of the great article in the Amtrak 'New York By Rail" magazine about the city.

Central location for our Erie Canal vacation.
Central location for our Erie Canal vacation. Flew into ROC from the west coast. 1 day visiting family in Rochester, 1 day in Niagara Falls being tourists, rented e-bikes in Pittsford and spent 5 days biking sections of the erie canal. Then 1 day driving back from Amsterdam to drop off bikes and catch our planes the following day. Didn't have time to do much sightseeing in Rochester.

The hotel was nice and in a good location. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. My son even left his Nike jacket there after we checked out, with his headphones in the pocket. When we called a day later, they had the jacket with the headphones still in the pocket and mailed it to us right away. All staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff, we're excellent and very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel when you're in the area.

Great for a weekend stay in Rochester with friends. The host reached out by text before the stay so we had an easy line of communication, and was helpful with finding a local grocery store. The unit was comfortable, lots of towels and extra blankets, and perfect for our group of 5 (everyone got their own bed!). The location was close to an event we were attending at the Memorial Art Gallery.
