pre cruise stay. wish we could have gotten a hotel shuttle to the cruise port. we usually stay at the Comfort Inn in Orlando when we fly in to Orlando. We had just returned from a cruise and needed a hotel for 2 nights before our flight back home. I have never stayed in a hotel like this. You have to ask for a coffee pot and hair dryer if you want them, you have to take out your garbage to a room down the hall. The ice machine didn't work but the lady at the desk got some for me. It was very clean and nice but the beds were a bit firm for me. Lots of places nearby to shop and eat. It is not easy to get around Sanford, too many divided streets that require you to go several blocks to make a U turn to go back to where you wanted to go. The staff was very nice but other than that, the convenience of being close to the airport is the only other positive. I could not sleep because the smell and dampness of the room were awful! Inexpensive hotels are a terrible choice in Sanford. They’re unsafe, dirty, and they will steal money from you at the hotels (overbooked hotel trying to charge me for a room I never got to step foot in and another canceled my booking and tried to rebook on another site for 50% more money like I wouldn’t notice)Guest review byAnonymous - Review score

We were visiting family here and Cherry Blossom was by far the best value venue to stay. The apartment is well-equipped, and you can realistically cook meals here.
