Love the feel of this beautiful, small coastal city in southwestern Florida. It's perfect for an extended weekend getaway. Just a short drive away and a stay at a reasonably priced hotel, many of them central to everything necessary for a relaxing stay. The beaches are beautiful and a short ride or walk from many of the commercial and boutique hotels. Loved exploring the stores (they have quite a few cute little thrift stores) and restaurants like a beautiful little spot in Bradenton, Amuse 5 Bakery (close enough to Sarasota to warrant the ride- the chai is more than worth it). We walked and sipped and enjoyed delicious, beautifully plated food.

Fun place, unstoppable beaches.
Fun place, unstoppable beaches. I always try to go between seasons so there aren't a bunch of "damn kids" around and no freaking geezers from New York, New Jersey, Michigan and so forth cluttering up the place. Siesta Key is my usual hang - cool bars and restaurants, and the aforementioned beach. Saw some manatees last visit! I also have a folding bike to get around because I am allergic to "paying for parking."

We were not told during booking that there was a $40 fee for parking our car in the garage. First of all, that is an outrageous price to charge, and secondly, we should have been informed prior, as we would not have chosen this hotel

I have been visiting Sarasota often for over 20 years for...
I have been visiting Sarasota often for over 20 years for family reasons.
It has always been a very nice town to visit, especially the beaches (Siesta beach, Lido Beach and Longboat Key.
The restaurants, shops and ambiance around St. Armands is great, even though they receive damage form the 2025 hurricane, it has mostly been repaired.
Favorite restaurant: Columbia in St. Armands

It was the best destination among anything else to go to.
It was the best destination among anything else to go to. I had an amazing experience and the people there where amazingly kind and sweet. It is beautiful with much green and with an amazing view to the lake , and the Airbnb is on a perfect spot because you have everything you could possibly want or need close to you. The place I stayed was in perfect condition and super clean.

I went through several cities during my visits in south...
I went through several cities during my visits in south floriday. it was unfair for other cities because during my stay they had high tide which made the beach not pretty and unenjoyable. there for Sarasota was the best place i have stayed. If I ever visit florida again, i will most likely stay in sarasoto and 1 other place. Sarasoto is a must for me.

I came to Sarasota to visit my daughter, who was at Ringling School of Art and Design. The place was 4 minutes from the airport and from the college. It was close to the beach and right next to a small Walmart, a CVS, and a Walgreens. The interior of the house was perfect. The beds were super comfy with different types of pillows for different people. The living area was large and cosy and the kitchen was easy to use. All around, a spectacular and easy three days.

Nice clean cozy house, felt like home. Very clean and the beds are super comfy. Pool is heated and was very relaxing. It has everything you need to cook in the kitchen or bbq outside. Very convenient with a washer and dryer. We would definitely book again if it became available in the future. Close to downtown and siesta key beach, Wal-Mart, publix, and only minutes away from university park way. Nice neighborhood, very quiet area.
