Staff were excellent. Pool was lovely. Rooms very clean. Location was fine, 10 min walk from U District train which gets you everywhere, also lots of bus options which are also very easy to use. Heaps of restaurants and takeaways within 5-10 min walk. The neighbouring Stay Pineapple (Watertown) has a small cafe which is fine for take-out breakfast options.

Great location, friendly staff and funky art Deco styling. Rooftop bar was awesome but shame the $15 gratuitous drink voucher was added onto the bill as a convenience fee.

FAQs about hotels in Seattle

The Emerald City

Nicknamed the Emerald City due to its lush greenery, Seattle is best known for its great waterfront, fantastic skyline and infamous rainy weather. In reality though, the city gets less rain a year than New York or Atlanta!

One look at Seattle’s skyline and you’re immediately drawn to its most iconic building, the Space Needle. Standing proudly at 184 metres, this major landmark features a rotating restaurant at 150 metres and was featured on numerous films and TV shows, including the classic "Sleepless in Seattle".

The Needle stands not far from the popular Pike Place Market, a public farmer’s market selling fresh produce and crafts from local farms and independent merchants. It’s also a place where Starbucks Corporation was founded in 1971, and today you can enjoy a cup of coffee in their original store! Seattle has many popular parks and, thanks to its mild marine climate, is a great place for outdoor activities. A visit to Kerry Park to admire the best view of the city with Mt. Rainier in the background is a must!

Arriving at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, you’re only about 35 minutes from the centre of the city and whether you’re looking for a hotel with free parking or near the airport, Booking.com offers a great choice for your Seattle trip.

This was our first time at the South Union Lake area and we found it to be a really nice area with 2 great restaurants within walking distance to the Residence Inn hotel we were staying. We would visit this area again. Recommend Dukes restaurant for great seafood.

Seattle is a vibrant city with much to do.

Seattle is a vibrant city with much to do. We went to a concert at T-Mobile stadium, enjoyed an improv show at The Neptune Theatre near the University of Washington, did the touristy things (Space Needle, Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle Aquarium, Pacific Science Center, Chihuly Garden and Glass), visited the Seattle Pinball Museum, spent half a day at Discovery Park, went up to Anacortes for whale watching (saw orcas and a humpback), went on a day trip to Leavenworth enjoying the drive through the Cascades. Every day we had great coffee, breakfast, surprisingly good Mexican food, superb seafood... only wish we had more than the week to explore more.

    Parking is terrible.

Parking is terrible. It is stupid to have to pay every place you have to park. And it gets really expensive. The only free place was the hotel. Thank goodness for that. Plus it takes forever to get around the city. It is very beautiful with a lot of outdoor activities. That was nice. The people were very friendly. I appreciated that.

Seattle was beautiful and had so much history.

Seattle was beautiful and had so much history. Also very modern and tech savvy. There were beautiful flowers and all sorts of trees and shrubs all over and Seattle appears to take pride in their cleanliness. I would have liked to spend more time at the Pike Market. Huge place and cool stuff and food! I wouldn't want to travel to airport in a holiday weekend again. Uber drivers were prompt and courteous.

Very well located for the Space Needle and the Climate Change Arena. The mono rail is also there too.. Also on a bus route for down town. Walkable to the harbour and downtown too. Staff so friendly and helped with amenities round the hotel. Good roof patio, unfortunately for us...rained for the 5 days we were there on and off🙈. Hotel got bikes too and car park if needed. Rooms spacious and clean. Would def recommend and go there again if visiting Seattle again from the UK.

Very good location. Close to all main attractions and places of interest, specially for a first timer in the city. Hotel is boutique, new or recently refurbished, with the basic things required. Not all the toys of a 5 star hotel but what it does it does it right. People at reception were very nice and understanding as I had to request a late checkout due to my partner being sick.

The Ambassador put me right at ease on check-in after a stressful travel day. You check yourself in at computers in the lobby. The Ambassador got me started and backed off until I needed help. The location was great- easy walk to waterfront, ballpark and downtown. Room was small but functional and fine for being out in the city or at the ballpark.
