Maybe 30-40 years ago Sedona was worth while, but I found it to be a tourist trap, over priced and over rated, plus 3.3% to use your credit card! Everyone wanted your attention to buy, buy, buy. It did not feel spiritual or a place of calm and peace. More like desperation to get a buck! The Coffee Pot was the best deal going, including their shop. I did have one fantastic house margarita but the rest of the meal was just okay; I never spent so much on Mexican food! The fudge was very good; but pricey. Sedona seems like a fake; not authentic. After all these years of wanting to visit Sedona, I can honestly say, I was disappointed.

We loved all the beautiful scenery, the tours we took and the food we ate. The people are friendly and helpful. The traffic is very congested and usually backed up, especially in the center of town, so allow extra time and patience when traveling to/from town.

You have to visit Sedona at least once.
You have to visit Sedona at least once. Its just lovely, be aware its outrageously priced on food and drinks from restaurants. If you are younger, i would plan a place that offers a kitchen and buy your own groceries. The food isnt so special that you need to pay 20 or more per plate.

The day we arrived, there was a wildfire that had started the day before, so some of the things we had planned got canceled, but that's understandable. We kinda just went went with the flow and just enjoyed what we could it was just very relaxing just being there

Sedona is a very small city with few roads and metropolitan things to do. Go there for the nature/retreat. Sites that used to be wonderful like sliderock are now way too crowded. It does get too hot in summer and the pools and creeks can dry up--hiking is too sunny in summer. During good seasons it's too crowded. Don't need more than a couple nights here. I liked it before it got so popular. It's easier to just stop in during a non-busy season. We love Javalina Cantina and walking along the oak creek. It's otherwise a gorgeous city with amazing views!

The Hilton Vacation Club Ridge is located in the heart of Sedona. Personally the location could not be more perfect. And the whole complex is so well taken care of, clean, green. It is in touch with the beautiful nature - you see the "red rocks" at the sidewalks of the property. The room (well studio) was amazing! We got the newley renovated studio and were amazed how spacious, clean and comfy it was. Perfect for a couple! The staff was also amazing - the reception and consierge were nice & helpful. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful location in the heart of Sedona, hotel was quiet and relaxing. Staff where friendly and discreet, there when you needed them. Selection of snacks and breakfast items included in stay where great, plus wine and beer for an extra fee (and not over priced!) Room was unique, clean and very comfortable.
