There is no breakfast but the room was nice and beds comfortable. When the room leaked, the staff immediately moved up - someone left their tub running above us. The staff was wonderful and accommodating.

Shepherdsville is a great place to visit.
Shepherdsville is a great place to visit. There are many fast food restaurants and about three sit in and dine restaurants and all of them are about 1/2 mile at the most from each other. Jim Beam is only 5 miles away if you would like to tour, there are wineries to visit, Kart Kountry is about 1/8 mile from the motel we stayed in (Motel 6) and it has the longest cart track around. There is a city park and Louisville is not that far away (about 20 driving minutes if you want to go to Kentucky Kingdom 9an amusement park) or the Louisville Zoo or any of the museums - which are downtown. Bernheim Forest is also only 5 miles away. Shepherdsville is a great place to visit!
The Glass Blowing place (Hawks View) is no longer here.

Hotel was clean and modern.
Hotel was clean and modern. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious. Unfortunately our visit was spoiled by a nonfunctioning toilet in our room and we weren't really offered anything other than a plunger. We used the lobby bathroom during our short visit.

The Bernheim Gardens were nearby & beautiful.
The Bernheim Gardens were nearby & beautiful. The "Forest Giants" installation by Dutch artist Thomas Dambo were amazing & fun to photograph. Cave City was an hour away, with lots of tourism options.
Be aware that Cave City is Central Time, while Shepherdsville is Eastern Time.

Shepherdsville was a nice place to visit.
Shepherdsville was a nice place to visit. It is close to Louisville and there are many restaurants of all kinds and many mid-size shopping options. There are several sightseeing options in the area as well.

Shepherdsville is in Bullitt County.
Shepherdsville is in Bullitt County. Bullitt County is the home of Jim Beam which has a signature restaurant and tours are available. Bernheim Forest is very close to Jim Beam and we enjoyed looking at the famous sculptures of wooden giants. Shepherdsville is also the home of Kart Kountry which has the 2nd longest go-kart track in the world. Shepherdsville is only about 20 minutes from downtown Louisville and we visited the Slugger Bat Museum, Muhammed Ali Center, Kentucky Derby Museum, and the Louisville Zoo. It is also only 15 minutes from the airport so taking a guest for departure is very easy. There are two major department/grocery stores, about seven sit-down restaurants and a variety of fast food places. Shepherdsville is a great place to stop if traveling through to other places or if you want to tour the things mentioned in this paragraph.

This property is being renovated and I didn't know this when I booked. The name of the hotel is not Sleep Inn and this made difficult to locate. The lobby was a mess and only grab and go breakfast. The fourth and third floors were completed and our room was new and clean. Booking rooms should only be made after all renovating is complete
The Staff was very friendly and accommodating. This Hotel is very nice and clean, Very Quite not right on Interstate. Several Restaurants within walking distance. VERY VERY Pleased and would absolutely stay there again.
The staff was pleasant but did not offer any help with the issues I had with the room. The room was clean and bedding fresh. The location of the hotel is convenient
