The house has a calming, peaceful atmosphere that truly makes you feel like you’re on vacation. It is filled with natural light and offers beautiful views from every corner. The entire home is a perfect blend of wood, mountain-style charm, and modern technology, making everything feel both cozy and incredibly practical. Nothing was missing — the house was spotless, well-organized, and everything was exactly where it should be. There were so many thoughtful details and amenities, even things we didn’t expect but truly appreciated. The kitchen was spacious and extremely well equipped, perfect for cooking comfortably and ideal for a large family. The location of the house on the hill makes it even more special — the view is simply breathtaking. A very special touch was that Nora had even decorated a Christmas tree for the holidays, which made the experience feel even warmer and more magical. Nora was incredibly communicative and attentive, always available in real time for anything we needed. We will absolutely return with our family and highly recommend this place to everyone. There was absolutely nothing to complain about — “perfect” doesn’t even feel like a strong enough word. Thank you, Nora, for the wonderful hospitality.

I had an excellent three-day stay at Slide Mountain House and enjoyed the peace and relaxation of the property. Slide Mountain House is located in close proximity to the Catskills' most popular hiking trails, most notably the Slide Mountain Trail and the Giant Ledge Trail. Breakfast was delicious and served a la carte by extremely friendly staff - leaving nothing to be desired. In the evening, I had a good selection of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. I liked the Slide Mountain Inn across the street best, which offers special treats of German cuisine and also stocks many types of beer from Germany. Just the thing after an eventful day of hiking in the Catskills. I will definitely come back one day.
