The beach is always a great choice.
The beach is always a great choice. Sunset Beach and Sea Trails Resort where we stayed is mostly a golf retirement community. There is none of the circus of Myrtle Beach and thats perfect for relaxing!. Everyone here smiles and waves, very friendly atmosphere. SB is also a bird sanctuary community, perfect for bird watchers, and turtle spotters! SB has all the amenities you need with a laid back, casual feeling. Check out Calabash for the best seafood, we ate at Seafood Hut. This is where Calabash fish and shrimp were created! It was mid-March when we visited so the beach was still chilly. Sunset beach is beautiful.
Sunset beach is beautiful. Much better than the crowded, nasty beaches of myrtle. We drove into Southport, as I love the movie “safe haven”. Ate a lovely dinner at the “fishy fishy” cafe, and took a stroll around this quaint town.Guest review byAlicia - Review score

The room was too small.Get rid of your sofa bed and put in a small table and chairs . As long as you force your guests to eat in their rooms, you need to provide a space for them to sit. Your TV trays in the closet just don’t get it. All the instruction notes in the room I found to be offensive. You are much too controlling and it shows. I guess you feel you have a captive audience during the season. But in the off season you don’t. We took a chance and were very disappointed.
