I’m a global hospitality consultant working with the top flags in the world. We reside in Tacoma and you hold the title as the best hotel in the City. I took my family for a one night to check you out. Valet: friendly but not welcoming. More like a transaction. Ask us if we need help with a trolly. I said yes and they pointed at the bell shelves. They had more fun taking to themselves as helping us. Again, nice people but missed the service mark. Check in: very warm and courteous. Transactional but by far not bad. The room was nice. Obviously a new product. Beds and comfort was above average. Love the big screen TV. Room smelled clean and the bathroom as implacable. Copper and Salt was amazing. It was my daughter’s birthday and they not only recognized her special day but made her feel important. The food quality was good. I travel all over the world and stay / work with the most iconic Hotels. You did not disappoint. A few flaws but that is acceptable. We will be back. The Elks Temple is a fascinating hotel renovated with style. The rooms and common areas are exquisitely decorated and the view from the hotel is amazing. it is a perfect location for visiting the Tacoma Museum of Glass and the Chihuly Bridge of Glass. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. When we were disappointed that our room was lacking a fridge, they immediately provided a portable one. Great service!

Family trip, we all enjoyed nearby NW Trek and Tacoma Point...

Family trip, we all enjoyed nearby NW Trek and Tacoma Point Defiance Zoo. If you get a membership it covers both and pays for itself in less than 2 uses. And half price on the carousel -- $2. That's all we had time for this trip, but the Fort at point defiance, living history is very nice too. And LeMay car museum -- not so much the one by the Tacoma dome, but the one East of town slightly is terrific. Old part of Tacoma has a wonderful historical museum. Right by the old train station with Chihuly glass display. Also one in nearby McDonald's! And that glass museum is right behind these. You can see quite a bit walking over there and outside displays, even without paying for the museum. Nice area to shop and eat in old historical buildings. A pleasant drive north from there along the water and parks will take you to Point Defiance Park. Also hiking trails, garden and beach in this very large park with spectacular views

So many interesting sites to enjoy in Tacoma.

So many interesting sites to enjoy in Tacoma. We barely scratched the surface as the area is in rebirth. Ruston Way history and restaurant row are awesome. Glass museum and views over Commencement Bay phenomenal.

I like the energy of the area and the locals.

I like the energy of the area and the locals. Urban/sophisticated very diverse and always something new. Never a dull moment I had fun ate some chicken curry with rice at the gas station across the street from the Tacoma center motel. The turned it into a Sinclair now the food was straight up fire 🔥 homemade I'm gonna try to get another plate!. Amenities are a big strong suite for this location everything you need is nearby also the freeway/ Tacoma dome station for public transportation. EQC All Day!

Tacoma is where my mother lives, so I was very happy to be able to spend my time with her. If you are unable to rent a car like I found myself in, the public transportation in Tacoma is extremely useful especially if you go to the information booth the freighthouse square.

The Glass Museum, the Lemay Car Museum, and the waterfont in...

The Glass Museum, the Lemay Car Museum, and the waterfont in general are great, but the real gem of Tacoma is located in a suburb called Ruston. Just five minutes NW of downtown, right along the water, this former Superfund Cleanup site (Asarco Smelter) is now squeaky-clean and brimming with Young, Hip and Alive apartments, restaurants, bars and hotels. The locals smartly take advantage of the paved walkway that goes along Commencement Bay from downtown to the ferry terminal. Point Defiance park is just a bit further to north, offering further scenic pleasures: a zoo, a living hstory museum, hiking and biking and other interesting activities.

It was close to the airport which works for me and the...

It was close to the airport which works for me and the Korean church was also four minutes away which I attended every morning and I went to La Fitness almost everyday which was also not far from the property and Korean markets like H mart was close and the Korean restaurants were close I went to Mt Rainier on Saturday and the drive was not bad however the line was over a mile and a half long which was not good

The location is excellent. Ruston Way runs along the waterfront offering a long walk or run with many good restaurants. The hotel's breakfast was very good and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was traveling solo and felt very comfortable.

The location of the hotel was awesome. Shopping, restaurants, and sites were very accessible. Hotel was well designed an the rooms where clean a spacious. I will definitely be back. They may have to fix a few issues 1st.
